2019: ''APC govt planning to freeze accounts of Atiku, Saraki, Wike, other'' - Timi Frank alleges

2019: ''APC govt planning to freeze accounts of Atiku, Saraki, Wike, other'' - Timi Frank alleges

Immediate past Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives APC, Timi Frank, has accused the Federal government of planning to freeze the accounts of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Rivers state governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal, National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondu and former governor of Kano state, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Vanguard reports that Timi made this allegation in a statement released yesterday. The former APC spokesperson said the government is also planning to freeze the accounts of some businessmen and women who are sympathetic to the opposition parties. He alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will be used to raise different allegations against major opposition leaders and serving governors across the country in order to demoralised the opposition leaders and render them incapacitated financially.

According to Frank, the recent reported frozen of accounts of two PDP states (Benue and Akwa Ibom) formed part of the plot to ensure that states being controlled by the opposition parties are deprived from having resources to run government and blackmail them into joining the ruling party.
“Even though after serious pressures we gathered that EFCC had unfrozen the accounts they earlier illegally step down, we are in the known that they will soon start with private individuals but whatever game plan the ruling party might be plotting against the major opposition leaders and other private individuals, Nigerians will rise against it''.

While warning the government not to embark on any act of illegality in desperate move to win 2019 election, Frank said Nigerians and international communities are fully aware of all the happening in the country and will surely resist evil plot against the people.

The life of a certain Latina woman who lives in Florida will never be the same again after she went on Twitter to insult black people only for her to suffer an injury that will leave her disfigured forever.

The woman, named Meli, used the "N" word carelessly on Twitter to insult black people. When she was accused of being racist, she tried defending herself, but continued to use the N word. When people searched through her old tweets, they found that she had lots of tweets that belittle black people.

Later that day, Meli has a terrible accident. She was trying to break up a fight between her two dogs, and her one of them bit off her little finger.

Meli shared photos of her gruesome injury but, rather than sympathize with her, social media users taunted her and said losing her finger was "karma" for being a racist.

Read her tweets and see photos of what's left of her finger below.

Crowd Boos Kwankwaso Again - Politics -

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/08/crowd-boos-kwankwaso-again/

AUGUST 10, 2018 4:27 PMIN NEWS, POLITICS

Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 61-year-old former Kano state governor, who recently defected to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again been booed by members of the public.

At the close of Jumat service in Kaduna on Friday, the politician seeking presidential ticket of PDP, walked into the waiting hands of hostile crowd who chanted “Sai Buhari’’.

As he waved, the jeering crowd surged shouting “Sai Buhari’’, an indication of his rejection. The twitter video of the incident is succinctly captured by the twitter handle of APC United Kingdom.

He was similarly humiliated at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where passengers and onlookers booed, shouting “Sai Buhari’’.

Kwankwaso was two times Governor of Kano State from 1999–2003 and 2011–2015 and he was the first governor of Kano State in the fourth republic who was elected under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (Nigeria).

Kwankwaso lost re-election bid in 2003 to Ibrahim Shekarau and was in July same year appointed Defense Minister by President Olusegun Obasanjo.

In 2015, Kwankwaso unsuccessfully contested the presidential primaries nomination under the opposition All Progressive Congress, but lost to Muhammad Buhari. He then swapped to contest the senatorial seat for Kano Central Senatorial District.

He recently defected again to PDP, causing some ripples in APC.
