Premier League club, Arsenal have signed Nigeria-born Jayden Adetiba after spending five weeks on trial, being watched by the club's academy bosses. The nine-year-old wonderkid was discovered by Arsenal scouts in South Africa.

Adetiba, who has lived in the UK previously, has spent most of his life in South Africa, where he played for SuperSport United Soccer School.

He is said to be a lifelong Arsenal fan, with Alex Iwobi being his favourite player, and was delighted to have earned a "dream" move.

Adetiba's father, John, shared an image of the youngster signing his deal on his Twitter account.

He wrote: "The little man joins the big club!!"

Speaking to The Sun, the nine-year-old said: "I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy.

"I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend."The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team."

As northern Nigeria continues to recover from the ruins of Boko Haram attacks it has suffered in recent years, Al Jazeera took a trip to Gwoza, a community in Borno State to speak with children who witnessed the brutality of the armed group firsthand.

"Boko Haram, I see them use knife, chop my grandfather's head," said Ibrahim Daniel, a 13-year-old boy from Gwoza in Borno State.  

He went on to say, '"the Boko Haram is something that you won't like to see. I'd like to be a soldier because anything that them [Boko Haram] do, I'd like to do back to them. If me, I see them, me I go carry them. Me I kill am. I can help government. I can help my parents with being soja".

According to the report, Gwoza was, and is still, a notorious hideout for the fighters. Boko Haram captured the town of nearly 300,000, in August 2014, and declared it the headquarters of what it called its Islamic Caliphate.  

The group's black flags were mounted around the town and underneath them, Boko Haram members executed anyone who failed to obey their rules, dumping corpses in wells and streams. Hundreds hid in the Gwoza Hills, a set of rocky outcrops on the northeastern end of the volcanic Mandara Mountains that straddle the Nigerian-Cameroonian border.

As people are burning their Nike shoes and socks because the company made Colin Kaepernick the face of the Nike brand, some others like Nick Cannon are supporting the brand and buying out the store.

Nick said he bought all the black socks in a Nike store and will be donating them to the homeless in support of Kaepernick, the former NFL quarterback who started a revolution by kneeling during the American national anthem to protest social and racial injustice.

Shock as female artist strips completely naked at sacred Catholic site Lourdes in front of horrified believers (photo +18)

A female artist shocked believers by stripping down and posing naked at a sacred Catholic site in Lourdes, France, in front of horrified believers visiting the Sanctuary.

Deborah de Robertis, known for her provocative appearances across the country, took off all of her clothes in front of the famous statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, in the Occitanie region. She had on only a blue veil on her head as she clasped her hands in front of her in a praying position at the pilgrimage hotspot.

Parents and children were present as the 34-year-old stood naked. One shocked bystander even tried covering the woman up with a veil.

Police were called to the scene immediately and Deborah was arrested and placed in custody for a few hours.

Prosecutor of Tarbes Pierre Aurignac said:

The police were called by people on the spot, they arrested her and placed her in custody for a few hours.

The 34-year-old performer was ordered to attend the correctional hearing on 19th May to be tried for sexual exhibition.

This is not the first time the artist has been in the news for exhibitionism. In October, she stripped naked in a performance at the Louvre Museum in Paris, next to the famous painting of the Mona Lisa, and faced court charges, which were dismissed shortly after the trial began. She was, however, given 35 hours of community service for biting a museum guard when he tried to remove her from the area.

Speaking in court, de Robertis said that performance was intended to "question the place of women in the history of art."
