Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has said that the federal government must perish the idea of increasing the pump price of petrol from N145 per litre to N185 in March next year.Image result for MINIMUM WAGE: FG Planning To Increase Petrol Price To N185Politics -

He said that “Nigerians have suffered enough in the hands of the APC government and won’t accept any further upward review of petrol pump price.”

The former governor, who described the planned increment as a way of taking back of whatever that is added to workers salary as minimum wage increment.

On Sunday, members of the Biafra Zionists Federation on Sunday threatened to commit “mass suicide” due to the uncertainty over the whereabouts of their leader, Benjamin Onwuka.

Onwuka and some members of the group were arrested on August 20th while trying to occupy the Enugu State Government House, where they planned to declare the ‘independence’ of the Republic of Biafra from Nigeria. The secessionists were arrested by the police and the Department of State Services as they approached the gate to the Government House. The BZF leader’s whereabouts has remained unknown ever since.

The Coordinating Director of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), Dr Vincent Isegbe, has disclosed plans by the Federal Government to resume the export of hibiscus (zobo leaves) to Mexico.
