Well, if you're Dan Aykroyd, you're gonna call Bill Murray to try once again to talk him into taking part in Ghostbusters 3 — which, according to Aykroyd, is being penned at this moment. During a recent appearance on AXS TV's The Big Interview with Dan Rather, the ever-optimistic funnyman spoke about the possibility of reuniting the surviving members of the original Ghostbusters cast, according to fan site Ghostbusters News.

A Nigerian mother, Princess Amaka, who is a year older today, shared her joy on Facebook after her three children gave her birthday gifts of shoes and bag bought with the lunch money they saved up. She wrote;

 

"My people, Am pls one today and my kids brought me to tears of joy this morning. Am so excited !

I never knew the lunch money that is normally given to them for lunch , they used to go hungry at the school and keep saving that 50 or 100 naira giving to them just to present a gift to mom on her birthday.

Court of Appeal reduces ex-Gov Dariye’s jail term from 14 to 10 years

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has reduced the 14 years sentence against former governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye to 10 years.

Recall that in June 2018, the Federal High Court Abuja sentenced Dariye to 14 years in prison for diverting N1.162 billion Plateau state ecological funds while he was governor between 1999 and 2007. He was first arraigned on a 23-count charge for the offence in 2007.

No going back on N30,000 minimum wage- NLC insists

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has vowed not to go back on the already negotiated new minimum wage of N30,000. The labour unions position came after the Nigerian Governors Forum stated that paying 30,000 naira is not feasible in the face of the current economic situation.

Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard pursuit takes backseat as Los Blancos prioritise transfer of 117-goal forward

Real Madrid have reportedly put their pursuit of Eden Hazard on hold until the summer, with the club set to prioritise a move for Mauro Icardi instead.

According to Diario Gol, Real’s priority for the January transfer window is to bring in a new striker, and their pursuit of Hazard has been ‘delayed’ until the summer window.

The report also notes that current Real manager Santiago Solari gave club president Florentino Perez the green light regarding Icardi’s potential arrival in the Spanish capital, and that Real are going to try and use Luka Modric as a makeweight in their offer for Icardi.

Despite Hazard’s quality, Real benching their move for him so they can focus on bringing in a new striker is a smart decision for the Spanish giants to make, especially when you consider how much Karim Benzema has declined in recent years.
