Armed robbers allegedly steal babies at University of Calabar Teaching Hospital

Dare devil armed robbers who attacked the premises of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, have been accused of stealing three new born babies from the pediatric ward of the hospital.

According to Punch. the robbers who were about 10 in number, invaded the premises on Sunday night, November 25th and carried out their attack, with no mask on. They reportedly moved from bed to bed to pick up babies. They beat up the hospital staff and also attacked pregnant women in the pediatric ward. They also stole phones and cash from people in the ward.

A nurse in the hospital who spoke on condition of anonymity, said

The Niger state police command have arrested two suspected armed robbers,  Umar Audu (50) and Umar Mohammed (40), for allegedly sexually assaulting a 34-year-old woman in Gadan Eregi, Fulani Camp along the Bida Road, Niger State.

According to reports, the suspects had accosted the woman and demanded N400, 000 from her. When she could not produce any money for them, they dragged her to the bush and raped her.

When interrogated, the one of the suspects, Audu, said they always rape their female victims who refuse to give them money.

The 24-year-old Canadian pop star and his 21-year-old model wife looked so in love as they cuddled up in the stands while watching Stratford Warriors vs Kitchener Dutchmen on Sunday.

The couple who couldn't get their hands off each other were also pictured sitting close to Justin's grandparents.

Drug dealers beat a woman and her dad mercilessly after a package of Indian hemp they kept on her farmland went missing in Ondo State

Suspected Indian hemp dealers at Ogbese in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State have allegedly beaten up a woman, identified as Martina Christopher, her father and brother to a pulp over the disappearance of bags of cannabis kept on the  victims’ farmland.  

According to reports, the Indian hemp dealers, numbering about 40, had last Thursday invaded Martina’s farmland, located at Bolorunduro village in the council area,  to search for some bags of the cannabis earlier kept on the farm. They were said to have met Martina’s brother, Isaac Akpan, working in the farm.
