Police have arrested a pastor affiliated to Living Gospel Church located in Mukono, and The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries in Uganda, for allegedly sodomising a 16 year old male member of his flock.
Simon Mpinga alias Pastor Ronnie 31 was arrested on Wednesday, November 27, following a report filed against him by the victim.

Ahead of the 2019 general election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has budgeted N85 billion for logistics during the election.
Disclosing this when she spoke at a round table discussion between the Commission and the NURTW, RTEAN and NARTO, in Abuja, on Wednesday, INEC’s Head of Health and Welfare, Amina Zakari, said it will cost the Commission at least N10 billion, on logistics, to conduct a single election.
“We have earmarked N85 billion on logistics for the 2019 general elections. For a two-day election, which is the least number of days to conduct election, it cost about N10 billion on logistics. You can imagine what would be involved if we had to conduct the elections in more than one day; like the presidential separately, National Assembly and even the cost of conducting five elections separately.

Governor Wike reacts after Nigerian Army says it uncovered an illegal militia training camp in Rivers



The Nigerian Army today said it discovered an illegal militia training camp at Nonwa Gbam, (NYSC Orientation Camp) in Tai Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State. A statement released by the Army says troops of Division 6, discovered an illegal militia training camp. The troops met over 100 recruits undergoing military type of training.
According to the Army, preliminary investigations into the discovery has commenced in conjunction with sister security agencies in the state to fish out the sponsors of the militia and the training camp. 
However, in a swift reaction, the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, alleged that the Army was been used by the Federal government to intimidate the state government. According to Governor Wike, the trraining camp the military said it uncovered is actually the camp for the training of itscitizens being recruited into the state vigilante group known as Rivers State Neigbourhood Safety Corps Agency.

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus, has called on the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Yakubu Mahmoud and the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to resign immediately.
Speaking at the 83rd PDP National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja earlier today, Secondus said Mahmoud needs to resign because he has proven he is unable to conduct free, fair and credible election. On the IG of Police, Secondus said the police under the current leadership is being used as a tool to victimize anyone that is believed to be of the oposition.

Jason Nellist, 41, started the day by killing his pet cat Gizmo with a rope after he had told a friend the day before that he wanted to end his family's "nightmare life". Later that day, he plunged a knife into his mother Julie Clark, 59.
As he did, she pleaded: "What are you doing?"
But he went on to stab her more times and she kept reassuring him of her love for him as he killed her. After stabbing his mum to death, Nellist walked in front of a van in an attempt to commit suicide but he survived.
