5 Strategic Ways To Get A High Paying Job In 2019

1. Networking And Referrals

One of the strategic ways to get a high paying job in 2019 is networking and referrals. Most times, job seekers often underestimate the power of referrals.

According to experts, there is a hidden job market that you can’t always access and see. But networking and knowing the right people will definitely give you access to it.

In recent times, most companies don’t do open recruitment again. They have decided to keep it under wrap for reasons best known to them.

However, you can only know about such jobs and vacancies when you know the right people. Do you want to hear the hard truth about the job market? In some cases, your application, credentials, and experience will not get you a job on its own. You need to network with the right people to push for you.

So, as we approach 2019, it is time to activate your network. Reach out and inform them that you need a greener pasture.

The reason network is very effective is because every person on your network is obviously a part of another network. If you have a network ready to help, you will definitely get a high paying job in no time.

Nigeria will be finished if President Buhari remains for another four years- Peter Obi

Nigeria will be finished if President Buhari remains for another four years- Peter Obi

PDP vice-presidential candidate, Peter Obi, says Nigeria will be finished if President Buhari is allowed to remain in office for another four years. Obi said this when he spoke at a conference in Lagos over the weekend.
“We need to know where we are going as a nation but with Buhari at the helms of affairs, we do not know where we are going. Buhari is not in charge of this government as he does not know or care what the poor people are going through. Nigerians are currently the poorest people on earth, yet the Muhammadu Buhari administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is still looking at taxing them the more. Take look at the budget presented by the President a few days ago and you will see that it does not give anyone hope instead, it tells us that we are still where we have always been. A quarter of the budget is meant to service debts, and that is about 60% of the budget while the President keeps telling Nigerians to tighten their belts because of the harsh times staring at us in the future.
“Does that give anyone confidence in this government? Not at all, I dare say. While presenting the budget, he said that the government is looking for ways to tax Nigerians the more. What are you taxing the poor people for? Does that give any one of us hope in this government? That means that if we keep them for the next four years, we are finished.” he said

WOW! Meet Mammy Ochefu The Woman Who Started Mammy Market In Soldiers Barracks -

Did you know that mammy market was named after a woman called Mammy Ochefu? Yes yes! Every military barrack in Nigeria has a place called ‘mammy market’, a place close to the barracks, where soldiers’ interact and buy their daily needs. In 1955 at Enugu, the market was named

After Mammy Ochefu, the wife of late military Governor of defunct East-Central state, Col. Anthony Aboki Ochefu, where she sold a local non-alcoholic beverage called enyi to support her family.

Her husband initially declined as soldiers’ wives were known to be housewives. He later accepted for her to continue the business when she told him it was to support him and the family.

After taking a week break at home due to complaints from people that the drink attracted flies, pressure from her clients inspired a Lieutenant Colonel to build her a kiosk to make it more conducive. Her family was later posted out of Enugu to Abeokuta but Mammy continued

The business wherever they were
posted to while she added snacks that would interest the soldiers’. Interestingly, whenever her family was transferred to another state, she would hand over the business to women who were interested in it but asked that they retain the name.
