August Alsina announces the death of his sister who died on Christmas day with a heartbreaking tribute (Video)

American singer, August Alsina, is mourning the death of his sister Chandra, who passed away on Christmas night after her battle with Cancer.

The 26-year-old recording artiste made the sad announcement via his Instagram page by uploading a tribute video dedicated to his late sister and mother of three daughters whose husband is also dead.

In the post,  Alsina wrote: 'Chandra... @_chachacha My Sister, My friend, life giver to my nieces, my hair magician, my biggest supporter, my number one fan. We lost such a beautiful soul on Christmas Night To the battle with cancer. I am Utterly devastated & Deeply shattered! Not only for myself, but for my 3 little nieces, whom are now robbed of BOTH parents. First, they killed Mel, Now Cancer has stolen you. 

What is life? Why is life? Why is THIS life? I’m calling on God for the answers. I don’t question God but THIS I’m not in agreement with. After Mel left I was always pushing you and hard on you about figuring out life’s direction & purpose for yourself..encouraging your entrepreneurship with mostly my fear speaking. Afraid & wanting my nieces to see an example of hustle, drive, determination and confidence through you so that they’d follow suit as young women.... & ALL along you were PERFECT! Living in your perfect purpose. 

The perfect mother, the perfect friend, the perfect sister, the perfect listener, the perfect caregiver, the perfect example of a young black woman traumatized by the ruins of our cultural upbringing trying their damndest to push to evolve and overcome fear while trying to raise 3 precious little innocent lives &’figure out a life your own at the same time. Before you left You asked me to guard & raise these girls, & I promise you I don’t even know where to begin. I am at a lost & am desperately craving and crazing to be found, so please send some signs, help us out. I have trouble accepting the fact that you’re gone, so it’ll be like we’re just going for a while without seeing each other. Someday hopefully I’ll find you where you are, where Peace is.

President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to Iraq on Wednesday, making it his first trip to US troops deployed in a war zone since being elected two years ago.  

The President landed at 7:16 pm local time at Al-Asad Air Base in western Iraq, accompanied by his wife Melania Trump where he spoke to troops and met with military leaders.

“President Trump and the First Lady traveled to Iraq late on Christmas night to visit with our troops and Senior Military leadership to thank them for their service, their success, and their sacrifice and to wish them a Merry Christmas,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders tweeted.

Paris Hilton claims the $2m engagement ring Chris Zylka gave her 'was free' and there is no need returning it despite their split

Billionaire Heiress, Paris Hilton, has again confirmed she won't be returning the $2 million engagement ring Chris Zylka gave after calling off their engagement.

The 37-year-old singer told TMZ on Boxing Day 'It's mine,' Paris, 37, as she strolled into LAX with her friend Brandon Davis. 'It was free,' Paris claimed, contradicting the ring designer's comments that Chris indeed paid for the item.

This comes after she appeared on The Jenny McCarthy Show last week and said of the ring: 'Look, the person who we got it from got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity.'

She also confirmed she was keeping the 20-carat diamond ring because 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend.'

Paris and Chris got engaged in January 2018 during a romantic ski trip in Aspen, Colorado. 

Identical twin sisters who share one boyfriend plead for a change in the law so they can be allowed to marry him

A set of twin sisters who refer to themselves as the “world’s most identical twins” have made a desperate plea to be allowed to marry their shared boyfriend.

Anna and Lucy De Cinque, 33, have been dating Ben Byrne for six years now and they believe they are ready to take the relationship to the next level. But the law in Australia where they live does not allow for polygamy. 

Speaking at the same time on Australia TV’s "Hughesy, We Have a Problem", the sisters said:

Okay, so we share a partner Ben and we would like marry him one day but the law in Australia says we can’t, so what do we do?

They’ve shared the clip on their own Instagram page with the caption:

We share a unique problem. WE WANT TO MARRY THE SAME MAN.

Polygamy is indeed banned under the Marriage Act 1961, in the country. Yet the twins, from Perth, claim they’ve always had the vision in mind with Ben,  a mechanic. Ben lived a 40-minute drive away from the inseparable sisters, until he moved in with them and their mum in 2017.

The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has given more insight into the circumstances surrounding the arrest of a Nigerian, Mr Okufolajimi Abegunde in US since June 25, 2018 even though till date there was no official correspondence to the effect from the family.

2. However, that notwithstanding, these are the facts of the matter :

(a) A US  department of Justice has since June 2018 arrested and charged eight   people including Mr Abegunde for cybercrime and business email compromise conspiracy.

(b) They were alleged to have defrauded some US Companies and individuals to the tune of $15 Million USD.

(c) However,  Mr Abegunde claimed innocence, saying his address was used by a friend of his, Mr Ayodeji Ojo, who has apparently been previously charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and is currently at large.

(d) Mr Abegunde along with the 7 others, currently have a criminal case against them in the US, . Mr Abegunde had his detention hearing on June 25th.

(e) However, when the Nigerian consulate in Atlanta became aware of the detention of Mr Abegunde, who claimed innocence,a letter was written to the West Tennessee Detention Facility in Mason, Tennessee (where he is detained) requesting consular access.

3. The consulate in Atlanta is awaiting response  for consular access to Mr Abegunde through the US Department of State in Washington. , without which the mission cannot visit him
