Buhari, Atiku, others must undergo mental health tests before 2019 elections – CUPP

The Coalition of United Political Parties has called for mental health tests for President Buhari; former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and all other candidates contesting the 2019 presidential election.  

It said the test should be conducted by an independent team of experts in mental health issues. The coalition’s demand was contained in a statement by its first national spokesman, Imo Ugochinyere.

Senator Ben Murray Bruced has countered claims by the Nigerian Army that the viral video of soldiers complaining about unavailability of weapons to prosecute the wat against Boko Haram is from 2019 and does not reflect the current state of the Nigerian Military.

In this tweet, Bruce claims the video is recent.

Kanye West Calls Out Drake For Following His Wife, Kim Kardashian On Instagram -

Kanye West, has reignited his beef with Drake again and this time he is calling him out for following his wife, Kim Kardashian on Instagram.

The father of three took to Twitter to attack him after he discovered thst Draks has since followed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 38, on social media.

In a series of Tweet which has now been deleted, the 41-year-old rapper wrote: "I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September," he tweeted.

"I had to bring this up because it’s the most bleeped up thing of all and I just saw it this morning," he added. "Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram."

Despite the rant, Kanye still sent positive vibes to Drake adding, "We truly wish this man the best and pray that he will find the same happiness that we have."

The wedding Fatiha took place in Al-Furqan Mosque, Alu Avenue, Nassarawa GRA Kano on Saturday 29th December, 2018.

The Crossing Swords took place at the Emir of Kano Palace midday.

Prince Sanusi is an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

The bride is the daughter of Dr Sani Ali Bashir.

Usher files for divorce from estranged wife, Grace Miguel

R&B singer, Usher Raymond has officially filed for a divorce from his estranged wife and former manager, Grace Miguel.

This comes after Usher and Miguel confirmed their split in March following multiple lawsuits in which he was accused of infecting people with herpes. But the singer denied the allegations, insisting he had no intentions to cause harm. He also argued that the plaintiffs "assumed the risk" when they consented to have sex with him.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Usher who married Miguel in September 2015, about six years after they began dating, filed for a divorce from her on Friday in Atlanta. 

TMZ reports that the legal documents list Dec. 24, 2017 as Usher and Grace's date of separation.  The documents state that the former couple have reached a confidential settlement agreement awaiting court approval.

According to The Blast, Usher is using the same attorney he retained in his a previous custody battle with ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

Publish Your Shareholders, Shehu Sani Tells Etisalat, Keystone Bank - Politics -

The Peoples Redemption Party member representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has challenged the management of the communications giant, Etisalat, and Keystone bank to publish the list of their shareholders without further delay.

The senator through his verified Twitter handle on Friday said such action by the management of the two organisations would put a stop to the controversies surrounding their ownership.


The Atiku Campaign Organisation had through one of their spokespersons, Buba Galadima, alleged on Wednesday that families, associates, and cronies of President Muhammadu Buhari, were the largest shareholders in the two firms.

But Sani said the immediate publication of the firms’ owners, would also save the President, whose integrity was already being called to question, from ridicule.

Sani tweeted, “In view of the moral dust raised by the questions on the shares of the two firms now on the scale of integrity, Etisalat & Keystone should publish the full names of their shareholders, to exhale the billows of smoke and clear the dark clouds hanging over the landscape of our nation.”
