Done deal: Euro giants confirm Chelsea to seal €64m signing CHELSE

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they’ve agreed a €64m deal with Chelsea to sell Christian Pulisic, although he’ll remain on loan with them until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has made quite the impact so far in his career, bagging 15 goals in 114 appearances for the Bundesliga giants while scoring nine goals in 23 caps for the USA.
In turn, it appears as though he has a bright future ahead of him for club and country, but he’ll begin a new chapter in his career next season at Stamford Bridge.
As confirmed in a club statement, Dortmund note that Chelsea will pay €64m to sign Pulisic, although he will be loaned back to them for the rest of this season to continue his development.
His arrival in the summer will be a huge boost for coach Maurizio Sarri though, as the Italian tactician continues to stamp his mark on the squad while trying to build on their efforts this year as they continue to push to qualify for the Champions League.
Pulisic will be a huge addition in the final third to offer another dynamic and quality depth alongside the likes of Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian, and so he will undoubtedly be relishing the opportunity to feature for the Blues moving forward and kick on to win major honours.
Nevertheless, for now, his focus must be on Dortmund and helping them enjoy a successful season as they continue to lead the way in the Bundesliga.
As noted below though, the agreement is in place and a deal is done to ensure that Pulisic will be wearing a Chelsea shirt next season.

Italian giants eye summer swoop for Man Utd ace amid contract concerns

Inter are reportedly plotting a move for Man Utd stalwart Ashley Young in the summer, if he fails to reach an agreement on a contract extension with the Red Devils.
The 33-year-old has continued to play a key role for United so far this season, making 19 appearances in all competitions.

His versatility has seen him deployed on both sides of the backline, while he has also played in a more advanced position at times this season under former boss Jose Mourinho.
With his importance not diminishing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thus far, it seems as though he will still be heavily relied upon moving forward, but with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season, it has raised concerns over his future at Old Trafford.
As reported by The Sun, it’s claimed that Inter could try to prise him away with a two-year contract offer, and he is now free to discuss terms with other clubs with the January transfer window open for business.

Pep Guardiola fears key Man City injury blow ahead of Liverpool showdown

Man City host Liverpool at the Etihad in a crunch clash on Thursday night which could have a big impact on the Premier League title race.
After faltering over the festive period, the reigning champions have fallen seven points adrift of their title rivals after 20 games.

Given Liverpool remain unbeaten and have looked in ominous form all season, it will already be a concern for Pep Guardiola and his men that they might not even be given an opportunity to close the gap by their rivals.
In turn, their showdown this week takes on added importance as ultimately it gives City an opportunity to inflict a defeat and a potential psychological blow by securing a win, but Guardiola may be without influential midfield ace Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgian international has struggled with a knee injury this season, and after picking up a recent muscle problem which ruled him out of action this past weekend, the City boss has now conceded that he isn’t sure if he will recover in time to face Liverpool.
“I don’t know how he is,” said Guardiola, as per Sky Sports. “Today he was not able to play, but it is not a big issue.
