Buratai In Battlefield As Military Launches Offensive Against ISWAP, Boko Haram - Politics -

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Yusuf Buratai, was at the battlefield to provide direction and boost the morale of fighting soldiers as the military launched a grand air and ground offensive against terrorists in Borno State Monday.

The 120 Battalion of the newly formed Nigerian Army Special Forces Command neutralised 100 terrorists in different battlegrounds on day one of the offensive.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is involved in waves of bombardments, destroying in the process several terrorist gun trucks and facilities.

The battlegrounds are concentrated on Goniri, Yobe State, Damasak, Kross Kauwa and Monguno among other locations in Borno State.

Black Panther stars Michael B Jordan and Chadwick Boseman allegedly got into a fight at last nights Golden Globes.

According to MTO, a top industry insider said that both actors got into a physical altercation shortly before the Golden Globes started. 

The reason for the "fight", according to the insider, is that "Chadwick and Michael don't really like each other - Chad is very arrogant and Michael doesn't like that."

Michael is known to be quite friendly and easy-going. He enjoys a cordial relationship with his female co-stars, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o, and they are usually seen goofing around, case in point being the stunt they pulled at the elevator last night (read here). But the ladies aren't as free with Chadwick Boseman, and this is allegedly due to his arrogant behaviour.

OMG!! Church of Satan reacts after Christian Bale thanked Satan at Golden Globes awards

The Church of Satan has reacted to Hollywood actor Christian Bale thanking Satan after he was awarded Best Actor at the76th Golden Globes for his portrayal of former Vice President Dick Cheney in the film ‘Vice. While accepting his award, Bale said

‘Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for playing this role,’ .

Reacting to Bale's acceptance speech, the Church of Satan wrote on Twitter,

“To us, Satan is a symbol of pride, liberty and individualism, and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential. As Mr. Bale’s own talent and skill won him the award, this is fitting. Hail Christian! Hail Satan!”

 

Kevin Spacey pulled over for speeding after pleading not guilty to assault allegations

Kevin Spacey had yet another brush with the law as he was caught overspeeding and was pulled over just hours after his court hearing.

The actor, who was arraigned on accusations of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old at a bar in Nantucket back in 2016, was nearly issued a ticket as he was going home from the court hearing.

A Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Spokesperson told E! News:

Kevin Spacey was pulled over earlier today by Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority Police officers for speeding. The officers gave Spacey a verbal warning and did not issue a ticket.

Jada Pinkett Smith isn’t happy with the fact that R. Kelly’s streams and music sales have spiked since the premiere of ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ and she wants to know why.
