Tesla Model 3 surpasses SUVs to become America’s Best-Selling Premium Car In 2018.

This is quite an impressive achievement by an auto-company that commenced operations about 10 years ago.

Today, Tesla is selling much higher numbers than models from more established luxury car makers. Even more impressive is that the Model 3 launched at a much higher price than initially advertised, still it is outselling more established luxury brands.

And things are expected to get much better in 2019 with the Model 3, with its introduction to China and Europe in February 2019, sales of the Tesla brand are expected to skyrocket.

Taraji P. Henson to be honoured with star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame

American actress, Taraji P. Henson will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this year.

Ana Martinez, the Producer Of the Hollywood Walk Of Fame announced the good news that the Oscar-nominated actress, 48, will be receiving a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Monday, January 28, 2019.

“Taraji P Henson is a powerful woman and a powerful actress.  She is an entertainer that fans cannot take their eyes off of due to her great acting ability. We welcome her bright star on our Walk Of Fame.”

She will be honoured with the 2,597th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, after Hollywood actress, Viola Davis received the 2,596th star at last year ceremony. 

It was also confirmed that Boyz In The Hood director John Singleton and rapper Mary J Blige will speak at the ceremony.

Defence Headquarters announces date for Alex Badeh’s funeral

The Defence Headquarters has announced the date for the burial of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (rtd).

In a statement made available on Friday January 18th, the acting Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General John Agim,  said activities lined-up for the interment of the former defence chief will begin on Sunday January 20th with the Service of Songs scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base Protestant Church in Abuja.

This would be followed by a church service expected to hold at the same venue on Wednesday January 23rd.

The former defence chief would be laid to rest later in the afternoon at the National Military Cemetery in the nation’s capital.

Recall that Badeh was gruesomely murdered while returning from his farm in Abuja on December 18th 2018.

Obviously Alhaji Abubakar Atiku has every reason to have kept off the USA given the cloak of corruption he is wearing. After a long spell of noticeable absence and factual concerns about Alhaji Abubakar Atiku’s antecedents in the USA, arising from his dealings with former Congressman William Jefferson of Louisiana, who was convicted and served a jail term, on account of bribery resulting from a telecommunication transaction in Nigeria, Atiku is now here again in the US. Congressional records point to the fact that Atiku engaged in money laundering through his wife who was then resident in the USA.
