Hello there, here is a tender message from my favorite minister. 
you know that faith comes by hearing the word of God. 
therefore, for all of us who couldnt make it to church because of reasons we cant just fathom. i recommend this message for you. it has spoken to me aready.
In 2 Corinthians 2, we read about the restoration of the brother whom Paul had disciplined earlier (1 Corinthians 5).Now Paul says, “You should receive him back now” ( 2 Cor.2:6–8 ). That brother had learnt his lesson when everyone in the church avoided him – and he saw how dark it was out in the world. He had set matters right and given up his sinful ways. But now he was discouraged and depressed, sitting alone at home. Paul asked the church to restore him.

If someone has done you harm and you don’t forgive him, Satan can destroy your life.
The purpose of all discipline is to bring a brother back into fellowship with God and the church. A father disciplines his child, not to drive him out of the house, but to make him a better son. If the son is a grown man and rebellious, then the father may tell him to leave his house. But even in such a case, once the son has learnt his lesson (like the prodigal son), the father will welcome him back home. This is what Paul is saying here. Paul says, “If you forgive him anything, I also forgive” (2:10). And then, there is a word for all of us: “We must forgive others so that no advantage is taken of us by Satan” (2:11). It is extremely dangerous to live without having forgiven someone.

If someone has done you harm and you don’t forgive him, Satan can destroy your life. The person who harmed you may repent later and enter God’s kingdom. But you, who never did him any wrong, may go to hell, because you didn’t forgive him. That looks unrighteous – that the person who did the wrong goes to heaven and you who suffered the wrong goes to hell. But it can happen if he repents and you don’t forgive him. Jesus said, “If you don’t forgive someone, My heavenly Father will not forgive you” (Matthew 6:15). If your heavenly Father does not forgive you, how can you enter heaven? So if you die without forgiving anyone, as per Jesus’ word here, you will go to hell, irrespective of how long you were a believer before that. So, we must develop the habit of forgiving others immediately, no matter what harm they did to us.Otherwise Satan will get an advantage over us.
Paul says, “We are not ignorant of his schemes” (2:11). Satan is always trying to trip us up. Why do you think Satan constantly reminds you of the evil things that others have done to you in the past? Do you think
he is sympathising with you? No. He already got a hold of that other person to harm you. Now he wants to get a hold of you as well! Don’t be ignorant of his schemes. Forgive everyone.

Once a brother came to me and complained that someone had done a number of evil things to him. I asked him, “Has he crucified you yet?” He said, “No.” So I told him, “Then you have a long way yet to go in following Jesus, because He forgave even those who crucified Him.”

Paul’s testimony in 2:14 – “Thanks be to God who always leads us in His triumph in Christ” – came to me as a challenge many years ago –especially the word ‘always.’ I wondered if that was possible. Paul experienced constant triumph – and thanked God for giving him such a life. He didn’t say that he was walking in triumph by his own power.No. He said that it was God Who led him in triumph always. So Paul was an overcomer. He wasn’t perfect. He did slip up occasionally. Towards the end of his life he once got angry and shouted at the high priest (Acts 23:3). But he humbled himself and asked for forgiveness, as soon as he was aware of his sin. Thus his fellowship with God was restored immediately– and he lived an overcoming life constantly.

LOVE TO SHAVE PUBIC HAIR? Pls. read these

Contrary to well acclaimed hygienic practice, a medical expert has warned of the dangers in completely shaving the pubic hair. Dr Arikawe Adeolu, an Abuja-based medical expert, advised that it is safer to trim the hair rather than shaving it off completely. He said that complete shaving of the hair could cause infection.

Adeolu told our correspondent on Tuesday that shaving or waxing of the hair around the pubic could cause cracks and expose the skin to bacterial infection.

He added that the pubic hair served a major purpose of providing some level of cushioning for the individual, especially during sexual activity, preventing the skin from rubbing against another and causing abrasion.

He explained that if the skin around the pubic region was completely shaved and the individual’s skin came into contact with another person’s skin, friction would be increased due to the skin to skin contact.

He advised that individuals who were worried about the lack of hygiene due to untended pubic hair should consider trimming rather than complete shaving or waxing of the hair.

“When you completely shave the pubic hair, it re-grows in a slanted fashion with the tip sometimes growing into the pubic skin, which can crack open the skin.

“It is usually a small crack which cannot be seen with the Unclad eyes but due to this crack and loss of integrity of the skin at that level, there is increased risk of getting infection.

“Complete shaving can also cause boil to develop in that region. This is because when you shave, you cause some level of abrasion in the area which opens up the skin.
“These small openings cannot be seen with the eye but they are big enough for the micro organisms to get into the body.

“Also, because the pubic area is always moist, this serves as breeding ground for organisms like bacteria.”
Adeolu said that trimming the pubic hair would also help to reduce the risk of contacting Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), which could also be contacted when fluid from an infected partner’s Instruments came into contact with the pubic area.

According to him, if the partner is already infected, the virus in the Fluid or body fluid can easily penetrate the skin of the other to infect the individual.

He said that this infection was mostly caused by a virus known as ‘Molluscum contagiosum’, adding that there had been significant increase in incidences of such infection in hospitals.

“It is a viral infection that is also categorised as an STI. It affects the skin and does not need treatment; usually after a couple of weeks or months, the symptoms go away by themselves.

“You also have an increased risk of contacting other STIs such as HIV, Hepatitis, genital warts by complete shaving of the pubic hair,’’ Adeolu said.

PRESIDENCY CONFIRMS SALE OF TWO PRESIDENTIAL JET

– Garba Shehu, the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, has confirmed the sale of two private jets in President Muhammadu Buhari’s fleet

 – Shehu sai this is in line with the directive of the president that aircraft in the presidential air fleet be reduced to cut down on waste

 – The president’s senior special assistant also said some of the aircrafts will be handed over to the Nigerian Air force to boost their operation.

 President Muhammadu Buhari puts up 2 presidential jets for sale On Tuesday, October 4, the federal government advertised the sale of two aircraft in the presidential fleet.

Garba Shehu, the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, confirmed this in a series of tweets from his Twitter handle @GarShehu.

 He said this is in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari that aircraft in the presidential air fleet be reduced to cut down on waste.

The fleet is believed to hold as much as 10 airplanes, and the president has been criticised for maintaining the large fleet in the past.

The Office of the National Security Adviser advertised the sale of two airplanes in a national daily, adding that the aircraft that are currently up for sale are Falcon 7x and Hawker 4000 and are to be quoted in dollars.

The president’s senior special assistant also said some of the aircrafts will be handed over to the Nigerian Air force to boost their operations.

POPE FRANCIS WELCOMES GAYS, TRANSSEXUALS TO CATHOLIC CHURCH

– Pope Francis has urged the Catholic Church to welcome and embrace homosexual and transsexual people

 – “When a person arrives before Jesus, Jesus certainly will not say, ‘Go away because you are homosexual’,” the pope said Pope Francis has recently called for transsexual and homosexual people to be accepted and respected by the Catholic Church.

However, he stressed that he doesn’t support schools teaching youngsters sex changes and described gender theory as part of a “global war” against marriage.

The Pope made the remarks aboard his papal plane while returning to Rome from a three-day visit to Georgia and Azerbaijan.

 He said: “When a person arrives before Jesus, Jesus certainly will not say, ‘Go away because you are homosexual’. Each case must be welcomed, accompanied, studied, discerned and integrated. This is what Jesus would do today.”

He also recounted a story of a woman from Spain who had a sex change to become a man and subsequently married a woman.

The couple were invited to the Vatican after the transgender man wrote the Pope a letter, where he told about his transition and hateful attitude of a local priest. The Pope said: “Life is life, and things should be taken as they come. Sin is sin, but tendencies or hormonal imbalances … can cause many problems and we have to be careful But each case must be welcomed, accompanied, studied, discerned and integrated. 

When a person (who is gay) arrives before Jesus, Jesus certainly will not say, ‘Go away because you are homosexual.'” 

He then joked with the reporters: “Please don’t write that the Pope will bless transsexuals. I can see the front pages of newspapers now.”

 He also reiterated his position on gender theory when speaking with bishops in Poland last week: “What I was talking about was the nastiness that is present today in indoctrinating people in gender theory,” he said. “It is one thing for a person to have this tendency, this option, and even change sex,” he said. “But it is another thing to teach it, gender theory, in schools along these lines in order to change mentality. I call this ideological colonization.”
