The 3 Policemen Killed In Taraba By Fulani Herdsmen (Graphic Photos) - Crime

Knificent.blogspot.com .Suspected herdsmen have killed three policemen at Bujum Kasuwa community in Taraba State. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, David Misal, disclosed this reporters on Friday in Jalingo, the state capital.

Mr Misal said the assailants also killed two vigilante officials during the attack on the community in Lau Local Government Area of the state.

He explained that the slain security operatives ran into an ambush on Thursday while responding to a distress call from residents of the community.

The police spokesperson said the remains of the officers have been moved to the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo.

He also condoled with the families of the slain officers on behalf of the police authorities in the state.

The police officers were killed two months after suspected herdsmen invaded Lau LGA, destroying properties belonging to residents in the area.

Kenyan couple arrested after they kidnapped a man, poured acid on his face and completely chopped off his private parts

Two suspects namely Mr.Joshua Ngugi and Ms.Jane Wanjiku Washuka alias Margret Njoki were arrested on Friday, in Kwale County for having kidnapped one Mr.Paul on August 28, at Kinoo Kikuyu area, Kenya, poured acid on his face and completely chopped off his private parts.

The two were arrested while attending interviews for a hotel job in the said County bearing different names from those in their Identification cards.

The suspects are currently in lawful custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday.

Their victim is at Kenyatta National Hospital in a critical condition.

The 12-year-old girl, pictured below wearing a white scarf,  recently gave birth through CS.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said voting out Buhari is the “only way to ensure national unity and security.

The Sentor made it clear that he is sure of emerging as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the party’s October 6primaries.

Saraki, who spoke in Owerri, the Imo state capital, where he met with PDP stakeholders, asked Nigerians to stop President Muhammadu Buhari’s plan to continue in office beyond 2019.

.Few days after Nigerian singer, Harrysong revealed his battle with depression saying, 'don't cry when I die',  His former manager Kaycee Ichie Oguejiofor has taken to Facebook to write a subliminal post that's clealy meant for Harrysong.

Though Kaycee didn't mention Harrysong's name in the piece, he however said things like, 'when you die, I will sit in a bar and tell sad stories of how ungrateful and disloyal you were to everyone who helped you build your dream'.

Fayose: I Buried My Presidential Ambition Because APC Rigged Ekiti Poll - Politics -

.Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, says he will no longer contest the 2019 presidential election because the All Progressives Congress (APC) rigged the last governorship election in the state.

Fayose had declared interest in the number one position in the country, vowing to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in a free and fair election.

“I am inviting you today, distinguished leaders of our party, is to inform you formally that I will be seeking the ticket of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to contest the 2019 presidential election,” he had said on September 28, 2017.

“My party leaders, standing before you is Peter (The Rock) Ayodele Fayose, the man already destined by God to take Nigeria out of the present political and economic stagnation.”

But speaking with TheCable, Fayose said he has decided to put his ambition aside and face the petition filed by Kolapo Olusola, his deputy and gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, in the last governorship election.

The governor spoke through Idowu Adelusi, his chief press secretary.

“Governor Ayodele Fayose has decided to bury his ambition because of the last Ekiti governorship election that was rigged by the APC and we have already filed a petition at the tribunal,” he said.

“So presently, the governor is more concerned in getting back the mandate of his deputy, Professor Eleka, than his presidential bid.

“That’s the preoccupation for now, so for that reason, he has decided to put his ambition aside, and face the petition in the tribunal and make sure the PDP gets its mandate back.”

The governor also said he has no preferred presidential aspirant among those jostling for the PDP ticket.

“Though, the governor as a human being, a leader and party member, is entitled to have his own choice, for now, he has remained neutral,” he said.

“As the chairman of the PDP’s Governors’ Forum, he has remained neutral. Alhaji Atiku has visited him, Rabiu Kwankwaso has visited him and Taminu Turaki has also visited him. Before now, Sule Lamido has visited him, Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo has equally visited him.”

‘I will beat you up’' - Bovi, IGoDye continue their fight over Uduaghan’s senate bid

Few days ago, comedian Bovi called out I Go Dye on IG after the latter called out former governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan, who is currently seeking to run for senate.

IGoDye had berated Uduaghan over his poor performance while he was governor of Delta state for eight years.

Bovi went on IGoDye's comment section to ask him why he was making such an uncomplimentary statement about the former governor now that he is no longer in office. Bovi was of the opinion that IGoDye should have berated the ex-governor when he was in office. Read here.

Yesterday, IGoDye took to his IG page to reply Bovi. In his response, IGoDye said Bovi had been paid to defend the ex-governor, referring to him as a “baby lawyer”.

“How much have you being paid to sell your hard YOUR hard earned reputation, as a beautiful Nigeria youth, that grew to become AKPO’S, now Bovi, only to be commissioned as a Baby lawyer by your favourite Governor Uduaghan? Someone whose children are graduating today in London while Delta State University is still in decay.”IGoDye wrote

Following IGoDye’s post, Bovi in a now deleted post, threatened to beat him up if he ever mention's his name again.

“Unlike you, I do not dabble in politics. It’s not my turf. My take on politics comes up mostly on stage. I’m friends with many governors and politicians simply because they love my work. The present Governor of Delta state was at my mothers funeral as our family’s guest. Unlike you, I have not gone to burden him with self-serving proposals. Please note that I didn’t bother his predecessor too. That’s always been your game. I was simply calling you out the way you called the governor out. Now look how you’re rattled and running all over the place! Francis, your legacy in the comedy industry cannot be questioned but your shallow intellect has never been up for debate. If you thought your actions through, you will know that after your multiple visits to the ex-governor, cap in hand, including the one you showcased only a portion of the video on the 30th of April this year, you have no moral standing to speak scathingly and publicly. PS- if you ever mention my children again, I will physically beat you up.”
