She is known for her humility among the people she has been living with in Musoke Zone in Bulenga, Wakiso District, according to reports.
Her ex-husband, Mr Benson Mayambala Wsvamunno and their children attended the funeral ceremony.
Ms Joan Nakato, a resident, who says the late was her friend, describes Nalinya as a warm person, who had many friends.
“Nalinya made many friends at her Mobile Money kiosk near Musoke Road in Bulenga because she had created a system where trusted clients would simply call and she would deposit money or airtime and pay her later.”
“Her friendly customer relations approach earned her many friends. I believe she may have met with Afande Kirumira in a similar way,” Ms Nakato says.

Nalinya died due to bullet wounds. At the time of her death, Nalinya was staying alone and sometimes with her sister Gorreti, a neighbour to the late Kirumira.
President Museveni sent condolence message and Shs5millions to the family of Resty Nalinya.
The money and message were delivered by Gomba RDC, Mr Fred Nayebare Kyamuzigita to deceased’s father Mr Aloysius Kaitale.
During the burial ceremony, the RDC accused the media, NGOs and Civil Society Organizations of being behind all the killings in the country.
"Killers, thieves, murderers are used by foreigners, NGOs, CSOs, terrorists to destabilise our country through financial support and using desperate youths to incite violence. You're joking. You’ll not rule this country and you should stop the violent means of taking over power," Mr Nayebare told mourners.
The catechist of Kakomo catholic Sub-parish, Mr Emmanuel Lwanyaga urged Ugandans to “stop being greedy for power.”
"It's greed and scrambling for power that killed our daughter, Resty," the catechist said.
He called for unity, peace and love and marked the killers of Kirumira and Resty as cowards and the deceased as heroes.
"Heroes are assassinated by the cowards and these cowards should get to know that God is the only judge of human life, not politicians, not police, not the army," the catechist added.
The IGP John Martins Okoth Ochola also sent condolences (Shs2million) to the family of Resty, delivered by SSP Francis Chemusto (RPC Katonga region) and urged Ugandans to be calm and peaceful.
"We're investigating this case and a report shall be made," the IGP’s message read apart.

DNA test confirms Kenyan pastor impregnated 17-year-old girl he raped inside church

A DNA test ordered by a Mwingi court in Kenya has confirmed that a pastor accused of defiling a 17-year-old girl in a church impregnated the victim.
The test results showed that Pastor Steve Masila impregnated the Standard Seven pupil, who hails from Nguutani ward, on August 12, 2017.
Mwingi senior resident magistrate Grace Kirugumi on Tuesday, September 11, granted the suspect a Sh200,000 bond with a surety of the same amount.

DNA test confirms Kenyan pastor impregnated 17-year-old girl he raped inside church

The Arising Christian Ministries pastor appeared before the magistrate at the Mwingi law court for the release of the DNA result.
Masila is accused of defiling the minor as she was mopping the church in preparation for a Sunday's service on the fateful Saturday.
According to the victim, Pastor Steven found her washing the church on that fateful  Saturday evening and defiled her warning her not to tell anyone, else he would harm her.
"Pastor Steven found me mopping the church and raped me warning me not to tell anyone including my mom," said the victim.
The court had heard that Masila, after committing the offence, threatened the minor not to disclose the matter to anyone.
The minor opened up to her mother with information that it was the pastor who had defiled and impregnated her.
The mother (pictured) said when they told the Pastor about the newborn he denied hurling insults at her.
‘He insulted me terming me a bad mother as opposed to what he thought if i could destroy his reputation alleging he is the dad to my grand daughter. He further went on saying to take him where we we can, ‘ the poverty stricken widow narrated in tears.
Masila upon being asked he started threatening the mother that they will all die and the kid will also die since they are accusing a man of God.
The pastor has denied the charges and was remanded at Waita GK prison until he settles the bond. The hearing will be on September 18.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that on July 16,2018, residents of Nzawa village evicted Pastor Steven after the news made headlines last.
Apart from the girl he raped and impregnated, he is said to have hooked several other girls from area to the dismay of the villagers.
According to the area residents the rogue pastor has been insulting them for a while, but worsened it by threatening them that they will be dying one after the other for falsefully accusing him of tasting school going children’s forbidden fruit.
Simon Mutua, a resident told journalists that they took the law into their hands and evicted the son of God from Nzawa village for this served him better.
‘This self proclaimed pastor has to leave our community now for we cannot continue living with a rapist in the name of serving God,’ another bitter resident added.

''I am not a kidnapper'' -Evans withdrawals all his previous statements to the police

Knificent.blogspot.com .

The trial of alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans, took a new twist today Tuesday September 12th after the suspect denied ever making any statement to the police, confessing to be a serial kidnapper.

At the resumed hearing of his trial at the Ikeja High Court, Evans through his counsel, Chino Obiagu, made the denial following an attempt by the State Prosecuting Counsel, Adebayo Haroun, to tender documents containing the statement of the 1st defendant (Evans) as exhibits before Justice Hakeem Oshodi.

Evans, through Obiagu, said the purported statement was not written by him neither was it voluntarily made as claimed by the police. The five suspected members of his gang namely: Uchenna Amadi, Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu, Ogechi Uchechukwu (the only female among the gang) and two Ex-Army officers, Chilaka Ifeanyi and Victor Chukwunonso Aduba, who are also standing trial with him, denied ever making any statement to the police.

Their counsel, argued that the statement sort to be tendered by the prosecutor was written by a policeman, Inspector Idowu Haruna attached to Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team.

Obiagu also objected to the tendering of a video clip, during trial within trial, showing Evans confessing to the crime at the police station on the grounds that it does not corroborate with Section 84 of the Evidence Act.
“I object to the admissibility of this document because the 1st defendant didn’t make them voluntarily and I am also yet to be served with a copy of the video or the Certified true copy.”Obiagu told Justice Oshodi

The police officer, Inspector Haruna, who the suspects accused of writing the false statements, told the court that he wrote the statement on behalf of Evans, after he was arrested on June 2017, because he claimed he didn’t complete Secondary school and therefore could not write well in English language.

Haruna, while being led in evidence, said that Evans and his gang members all volunteered their statements under caution after being charged with the offence of Criminal conspiracy and kidnapping.
“I got to know the defendants when they were arrested for the kidnap of one Mr Donatus Dunu- the Managing Director of Maydon pharmaceutical company, who escaped from their custody at Igando area, Lagos. When the matter was referred to my department at the IGP Response Team, we immediately visited the scene where the abductors had held him and discovered it was a well fenced and furnished bungalow with two flats; just like any normal building.
Having noticed that their victim had escaped, they gang abandoned the house before we got there. We conducted a search and discovered several Ak47 rifles (military version) and pistols which they left behind. it was through our investigation and items recovered from the building that we arrested Uchenna Amadi, who had ran to seek refuge at Port-Harcourt. Amadi, during interrogation, confessed that Evans was the mastermind and leader of their gang. This information led to the arrest of Evans at Igando area when he was about to run out of the country to Ghana. During Evans testimony, he mentioned other members of his gang like Ifeanyi and Aduba, who are former Army officers; Nwachukwu aka “Congo”-who is the agent and informant that sold information of victims to kidnap; Uchenna Amadi and his wife Ogechi. My team also made a video recording of Evans confession and narration of all his kidnapping activities before and after he came to Lagos in 2013.
After volunteering their statements, it was read to them and they signed. I, however, signed as the recorder. Some of the suspects recorded their statements by themselves but I personally recorded the statement of Evans and Victor Aduba. Their statement was further read to them again by a superior police officer, CSP Philip (former DSP) and they all agreed to have volunteered without duress. Evans, however, told us that he never imagined he could ever be caught because he has no other means of livelihood apart from crime-kidnapping and armed robbery,” the witness said.

Justice Oshodi thereafter adjourned the matter till October 26 for ruling on admissibility of documents and continuation of trial within trial.

Photos: Nigerian priest removed from Archdiocese of Boston after being accused of sexually abusing his uncleThe Archdiocese of Boston has removed a Nigerian priest residing at a Massachusetts church from ministry after an allegation that he sexually abused a child, the archdiocese said in Tuesday.

Rev. Christian Ohazulume, an extern priest, who has resided at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Brookline, pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated assault and battery on a child under 14 in Quincy District Court on Tuesday, September 11, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

The Archdiocese received an allegation on August 31, against Rev. Ohazulume, from Nnewi. The incident allegedly happened in Randolph in 2007, while he was living with his uncle after he arrived in the United States.
The then 8-year-old victim's father says that Ohazulume is his own nephew, and that he helped bring him to the U.S. from Nigeria to study at Boston College.
"I'm sad," the man said in an exclusive interview with NBC10 Boston. "I'm devastated."
The girl recently told police Ohazulume touched her inappropriately and kissed her. The alleged crimes happened in the basement where Ohazulume lived with the family when he first moved to the U.S.
"I don't think my daughter would make up anything like this knowing how Father Christian is a family member," the man said.
He added that he knew nothing of the allegations until his daughter spoke up recently.
"I invested in Father Christian coming to this country," the girl's father said. "I helped him in many ways. Like a son."

Ohazulume was ordered held on $5,000 bail. The assistant district attorney requested he not be allowed to travel outside of Massachusetts, that he have no unsupervised contact with any minors, that he stay away from and have no contact with the victim or her family, and that he be subject to GPS monitoring if released.
Ohazulume has assisted in celebrating Mass and hearing confessions at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish since 2010. He has also been employed as a chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since the same year. The hospital says he has now been fired.
"When the Archdiocese informed us about the allegation and it's decision to revoke Rev. Ohazulume's ministry faculties, we immediately praised him on unpaid leave and terminated him shortly thereafter. He is no longer employed by BIDMC, " the hospital said.
The allegation of sexual abuse reportedly occurred in Randolph in 2007, when Ohazulume was living with a family after arriving in the U.S.
The archdiocese said it learned of the allegation on Aug. 31 and immediately notified law enforcement.
According to the archdiocese, it has been in contact with Ohazulume's home diocese in Nigeria and notified them of the allegation. As a result, his faculties to minister have been withdrawn.

Ohazulume was represented at the arraignment by defense attorney Bethany Rogers. She denied the allegations and said Ohazulume was cooperating with the investigation. He is due back in court Nov. 13 for a probable cause hearing.
The archdiocese said in a statement it is "committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our parishes and institutions."
They said they continue to make counseling services available to survivors and their families impacted by clergy sexual abuse.
