Top5 Most Dangerous Animals In The World - Science/Technology -

Knificent.blogspot.com .

Animals can be so lovely to humans especially the domesticated species. But there are others who would waste no slight chance in devouring your cosmetics body.

Dangerous animals are not a sight to behold except if you are ready to commit suicide and book a pre-early appointment with your maker. If you are trapped in a dead end situation like that, your only source of survival can be categorically classified into the followings;

1 run for your life
2 hide in a place out of their reach
3 do not touch them, whenever you are in a close contact.

Joke Time

Joanna: What is the name of that animal?

John: Run for your life!.

Postingday is so terrific at cracking funny jokes, oh yes we know cry

Without further delay and unnecessary gibberish, join us as we explore Top5 most dangerous animals in the world

1. Komodo Dragon

Komodo dragons eat birds, water buffalos, Timor deer, carrion, and humans.

You will not believe the strange habits of Komodo dragon, they have been reported to dig up bodies from shallow graves.

If you are locked up in the jungle with the Komodo, do not dare fake your death because you are so edible for consumption.

2. Africa Buffalo

The ever dominating nature of humans has pushed various top scientists and psychologist into a quest to provide a sure link in domesticating this animal but with little to no success.

Africa Buffalo also called Cape buffalo [widow maker' and 'black death' by Africans], has been showcasing its unfriendliness to human by killing not less than 200 people per year, mostly hunters.

The death records accounted to the Africa buffalo is predominately gruesome.

3. Stone Fish

For the lovers of sushi and sashimi, the stonefish is different from the one in your bowl.

The stonefish is not your regular type of fish and it is not meant for consumption due to the high level of venom deposited in its body.

Stonefishes are venomous, dangerous, and even fatal to humans. They have an adaptive feature which makes them blend with the seafloor (hidden-in-the-open killer); swimmers might unknowingly step on them, and bingo you are done with.

4. Golden Poison Frog

What a name? Golden but poisonous.

This frog is only dangerous when eaten specifically.

The frog toxin called batrachotoxin is used by indigenous Emberá people to lace the tips of their blow darts used for hunting.

The toxin is estimated to contain about one milligram of poison, enough to kill about 10,000 mice or 10-20 humans equivalent to two African bull elephants. 1g is enough to kill about 15,000 people.

Its toxin is more than enough to kill you; leaving no time to make you learn your lesson.

5. Banana Spider

Do not think they look like the banana or taste like banana.

They are so attracted to the banana because it is a special hiding tunnel to them.

According to the Guinness Book of Record, they are the most venomous spider in the world.

They are dangerous to human because they are found hiding in houses and cars of densely populated areas, especially during daytime. Watch out for them if you are visiting Brazil.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Human; We kill each other more than any of these animals combined in a year.
With today's advanced technology, our beast nature has gotten an added horn as we can now destroy millions of lives in a few minutes.

Mosquito; the root of most deaths in Africa. Malaria caused by this tiny creature accounts for more than 1 million death per year.

How Yusuf Bichi Emerged As DSS DG - Vanguard - Politics -

Knificent.blogspot.com

.Details have emerged of the intrigues that preceded the emergence of Alhaji Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new Director General of the Department of State Services.

According to several sources close to the presidency, Alhaji Bichi was a compromise candidate between the preferred candidate of some powerful presidential aides and the choice of the president who was said to have preferred a retired military officer to head the nation’s secret service.

But despite the initial outrage that greeted the appointment of Bichi as the Director General of the Department of state services, a cross section of both serving and retired personnel of the service who spoke with Vanguard variously described him as “competent”, “capable” and most suitable to return the service to professionalism.

According to various sources that are in the know about the emergence of the new Director General of the DSS, he was neither in contention nor was he among the people being considered for appointment to replace the former Director General, Matthew Seiyefa.

“One powerful presidential aide wanted a serving director from one of the south south states to take over from the former Acting Director General. The president was said to have in mind a retired military personnel. When some members of the presidential aides insisted on the serving Director from the service, the president reportedly sought the opinion of Seiyefa who recommended Bichi as a capable officer to reposition the service and serve the interest of the nation”, a senior security personnel who claimed to be aware of the intrigues leading to the appointment of the spy chief told Vanguard.

Several sources that spoke with Vanguard expressed surprise that Bichi was appointed because he is considered as one officer that is “politically naive” and not aligned to any of the several bases in the villa.

Speaking with Vanguard on the suitability or otherwise of the new DG, a serving officer of the Service who said he had worked with the new head described him as a “good officer” that the service needs at this point in time.

The officer, who does not want his name mentioned because he is still a serving member of the DSS told Vanguard that “professionally speaking, he is the best appointment for the service. He is not a political officer and will do his job professionally. We just hope that he will be able to stand up to politicians when it matters most”.

Also speaking on the new DSS boss, a retired director of the service and Abuja based security consultant, Mike Ejiofor described him as a “ competent officer” who has the “capacity and capacity” to deliver on his new assignment.

“ The president has the discretion to appointed whoever he wants as the Director General of the Service. The most important thing is whether the person so appointed is qualified and capable. This officer is competent and capable. He is best placed to reposition the service” he said.

Mr Ejiofor dismissed the fear that being from a particular part of the country may affect the performance of the new Director General saying that as a professional, competence and not where one is from is the guiding principles.

He however said those who have raised concern about him have the right to do so adding that ‘in a democracy, if you are not satisfied with any government decision, you use your voters card to vote out the government at the next election’.
