This Ambulance Drone Is Designed To Save Your Life During Emergencies. (PHOTOS) - Health -

Knificent.blogspot.com .

Almost one million people suffer from heart attack year and only about 8% of those people actually survive it. The main reason the death toll is so high is mostly because of delay in response of medical services and ambulance which takes long time to respond due to traffic or bad road etc. In Africa the ambulance can even take more than 5 hours to arrive it’s destination or may not even arrive at all. Most time, they have to get the patients to the hospital themselves. All these problems are what made a young Dutch student to design this ambulance drone which is a robot that is capable of getting – e.g. a defibrillator – to a patient within a 12 square kilometre (4.6 square miles) radius within just one minute, increasing the chance of survival from 8% to 80% and save lives of thousands.

With this brilliant concept, everyone needing urgent medical attention (not only heart attack) will benefit from faster response times and will also increase chances of survival. As soon as the emergency line is called, the operator sends out the camera fitted flying robot (drone) which flies at lightening speed to the address of the victim.

Once it gets there, an operator like a paramedic, can watch, talk and instruct those helping the victim – or the victim themselves – by using an on-board phone and camera connected to a control room via a livestream webcam. The drone contains everything you need to take care of the emergency at the moment including an integrated defibrillator before you’re able to get to the doctor. It’s basically a flying hospital !

The name of the designer is Alec Momont, the name of his project is TU Delft (ambulance drone). According to him, his vision is to create a wide network of drones capable of saving lives and increasing survival chances from 8% to 80%. These drone which can travel with speed of up to 100KM/HR are not affected by traffic jam or bad road network. It can arrive it’s destination in just one minute. The drone has attracted the interest of emergency services in major cities like Amsterdam. Furthermore, high unemployment rates could be reduced by using skilled young gamers as drone operators.

''Kemi Adeosun's resignation is a reflection of President Buhari's administration's integrity'' - APC

Knificent.blogspot.com .

The ruling party, APC, says the recent resignation of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, over her forged NYSC discharge certificate, is a refelection of the integrity of the Buhari-led administration. The party said this in a statement released by its National spokesperson, Yekini Nabena. Read below

The resignation of Mrs. Kemi Adeosun as Minister of Finance and acceptance of same by President Muhammadu Buhari are actions of honour, strength of character and integrity.
The news that the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) exemption certificate tendered by the former finance minister was not genuine have been well-reported in the media.
Like all responsive and responsible governments concerned about the truth and due process, the federal government undertook diligent investigation of the allegation. Now that the report of the investigation is out, the right thing has been done. The honorable minister has taken the path of honour and resigned. We congratulate Mrs. Adeosun for her action.
In President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration of integrity and transparency in the conduct of public affairs, no officer of government with a modicum of questionable conduct or integrity should stay in office.
In past PDP-led administrations, the country was held down by corrupt and irresponsible public officers who refused to honour invitations of the National Assembly; closed down national airports against perceived political adversaries; bought luxurious bullet-proof vehicles with public funds at inflated prices; locked out National Assembly members, forcing federal lawmakers to climb high barricades in order to assess the legislative chamber.
It was these acts of corruption, impunity, irresponsibility and executive rascality that made Nigerians vote in the President Buhari administration in 2015, with its Change mantra to put a stop to such undemocratic practices.
We wish Mrs. Adeosun every success in her future endeavors and join President Buhari in appreciating her immense contributions to the stability of the Nigerian economy in the past three and half years.

Kirk Franklin shares touching story of how he reconciled with his dying father who gave him up for adoption as a child

Posting this photo of himself and his father on his IG page, Kirk Franklin wrote
'So.....Two days ago, I received an anonymous call that my biological father, who I never knew, has 3-6 months to live. I’ve lived my entire life hating this man. He and my biological mother gave me up for adoption, and it left me never feeling good enough....to this very day. I took my hate for him and used it as fuel to be the best father I could be for my own. But what I did wrong, is I never took that fuel, and turn it into forgiveness....and that is wrong. Wrong for him, me, and the God I proclaim to represent. How can I preach what I don’t practice. So I flew to   Houston yesterday to do that. It’s painful, it’s a process, but how disappointed I would be in myself for this man to leave this earth without being forgiven. He deserves to receive what God gives me everyday. Pray for him, and for me. God this is hard...I weep as I write.

Knificent.blogspot.com .

I met this girl 4years back and one thing led to another and we started a relationship, things have been pretty well and we love each other very much, we have our ups and down but we makeup for it. I love her so much I could do anything for her and she loves me too in her own special kind of way.

The problem now is that am planning on proposing to her in a couple of weeks, I even stylishly measured her ring size and I have been visiting some jewelry stores to pick the perfect ring for her and also planning some surprise engagement party/get together for her but the thing is that she hates my church (catholic).

She is Anglican by birth but she attends one of the pentecostal churches which I don't want to mention,
we have been talking about this church of a thing for the past 3 months now and she has sworn never to get married in the Catholic Church and I can't leave my church because of this.

I even stopped talking or texting her for some couple of days now but today she texted me saying that "I should do this one thing for her by leaving my church" and even said it to my face that I should not propose to her when the time comes cos she will say no because of this.

Am just confused, what shall I do? I need help

Pot-Bellied Nigerian Police Officers: Police Commission Worried - Career

Knificent.blogspot.com .

The Police Service Commission (PSC) says henceforth police officers will no longer be promoted to the next rank without the requisite training programmes and examinations.

A statement by the commission’s Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, said the commission`s Chairman, Musiliu Smith, disclosed this at a meeting with the management of the Nigeria Police Force on Friday in Abuja.

“From now and henceforth, one of the conditions for promotion must be attendance and passing the senior Command Course for senior officers and other prescribed courses for others,” he said.

Mr Smith said the force before now had promoted officers severally without attending the requisite training programmes attached to the ranks.

“Henceforth, result of performance of officers from appropriate training courses must be attached to the recommendation to the commission for promotion,” he said.

Mr Smith, who frowned at irregular postings of officers, said officers should be allowed to stay at a new post for two to three years.

He expressed displeasure on the long stay of officers posted to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) and called that the practice be stopped.

The chairman advised that every police officer should be a licensed driver so that during operations, in case of the sudden incapacitation of the team’s driver, someone else would take over.

He warned against the indiscriminate conversion of police specialists to general duty without due consideration to their valuable role in the force.

“There is official procedure for conversion and henceforth, this should be strictly followed.

“Officers recruited to work in the workshop, signals and other professional departments/units should be left and encouraged to pursue their careers,” he said.

He urged the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to revisit recent carried conversions, and return them to their special departments.

The chairman called for a harmonised method of producing police uniforms that would be the same from a reputable source.

He called for the construction of a standard and modern barracks which would enhance effective community policing.

On physical fitness, he urged the management to arrest the growing population of pot-bellied police officers.

In his remark, the IGP said that the management was determine to transform the force to a more people-friendly organisation.

He said that discipline, which was the foundation upon which the force was built, would be sustained.

Mr Idris solicited the support of the commission to ensure that the highest level of discipline was elicited from officers.

The police boss reminded the chairman of the recommendation of some AIGs to be promoted to DIGs to replace the retired ones.

“This will help the force to continue to pilot the affairs of the force at the strategic level and also assist the police in preparing for the Osun governorship election and the 2019 general elections,” he said.

He urged the chairman to help the force get assistance from the federal government to enable it surmount some of its challenges.
