Taiwo Gbolahan aka Scammer, a notorious armed robber on the wanted list of the police, suspected to be a member of the gang that attacked and killed a police sergeant earlier in the year at Akala-Mushin, a suburb of Lagos, during an operation to rid the area of drug Lords and armed bandits, was yesterday, September 18th, arrested at Akala by the operatives of the command, led by Area Commander in charge of Area D Command, Mushin, ACP Akinbayo Olasoji. 

A tip off from a well meaning citizen to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, that the gangster was seen in the ghettos of Akala, prompted the CP to direct the Area Commander to personally lead an operation for the arrest of the kingpin who had been terrorising the metropolis for sometime.

The raid carried out in the ghetto hideout led to the arrest of the said Taiwo Gbolahan aka Scammer. He was searched immediately and a handset and numerous SIM cards were recovered from him.

Investigation into the source of the handset revealed  the owner as Memunat Opeyemi Zerbo, female, of Orile Iganmu. She was invited to the police station where she identified Taiwo as part of a three man gang of armed robbers that robbed her valuables, same day, 18/09/2018, at about 0517hrs. She narrated how the gang, armed with guns, cutlass and dagger, robbed her of her handset and SIM card which they configured and without her authorisation, transfered the sum of one hundred and seventy thousand Naira (N170, 000. 00) from her account. 

The suspect who didn't deny committing the crime is presently helping the police in its effort to arresting other members of the gang at large.

Former Serbia winger Miralem Sulejmani, who has previous European experience with Ajax and Benfica, could make his first start since suffering concussion after returning as a substitute last weekend.
HOW HAVE THEY STARTED THE SEASON?
Young Boys have made a blistering start to the campaign, winning nine of their 10 games in all competitions so far in 2018/19. The hosts are the current leaders of the Swiss Super League, with an eight-point lead already at the top of the table, having won their opening six league matches. However, it will be interesting to see if tiredness will be a factor on Wednesday as the Swiss outfit needed extra time to defeat FC Schaffhausen 3-2 in the Swiss Cup on Saturday, thanks to a dramatic late winner from defender Mohamed Ali Camara.
HOW HAVE THEY GOT HERE?
Young Boys were crowned Swiss champions for the 12th time last season but for the first time since 1986, finishing 15 points ahead of second-placed FC Basel to win the Swiss Super League. The club followed up their domestic title success by making some European history of their own, qualifying for the Champions League group stage for the first time after beating Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs. However, with tough tests against Juventus and Valencia to come, they will be up against it to progress to the knockout stage of the competition.

Fight breaks out in church when pastor tells woman her best friend is behind her problems (video)

A fight broke out in a church in South Africa when the pastor told a woman that her best friend who was standing beside her is the cause of her problems.

Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International began to prophesy two friends who came to his church for prayers and the prophesy led to a fight when it was revealed that one was responsible for the other's business woes.

One of the women is named Pamela and the other is Japa. During the prophecy, Pastor Lukau told Japa that her business partner who usually invests so much in her business has suddenly turned his back on her. Japa agreed that this is true and the pastor went on to say that the business partner has also demanded that she returns the plane tickets he bought for her and has also taken back the money he gave to her. Japa also agreed that the pastor was right. The pastor then went on to tell her that the cause of her problems is someone very close to her.

At this point, congregants were looking shocked. The pastor then goes on to name the person behind her problems and it turned out to be Pamela. 

Pamela admitted to this and apologized repeatedly, saying she was jealous.

"Pamela Why?" the pastor kept repeating.

As Pamela tried to apologize to Japa, Japa lunged at her and began fighting her in church. Church members seemed surprised and amused by this as the fight went on. Both women were soon separated by church officials.

Drake says that after his stop in Manchester, England, Lace came back to his hotel and they had consensual sex.

“Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed MouthAction,” the lawsuit says of the pair’s initial contact with each other, but the lawsuit alleges that Lace took things much further in the following months.



TMZ reports that the lawsuit lays out a “fantasy relationship” constructed by Lace and includes texts allegedly sent between Lace and Drake. Lace went on Instagram shortly after the supposed exchanges and claimed that she was pregnant with Drake’s child.

According to the lawsuit, Lace lawyered up and asked that Drake pay her for the baby. When that didn’t fly, Drake claims Lace went to the police and said that the Canadian artist raped her.

The lawsuit says that Drake was cleared by the Manchester police but Lace still demanded millions of dollars in exchange for her not going public with her charges.

It appears that the rapper has had enough and is now suing for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, abuse of process, and defamation. The lawsuit says that “there is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby,” noting that a child would have been born in the fall.

Boy dies inside well after complaining about evil spirits. - Crime -

The dead body of Lagos-based boy visiting his uncle at Ujeme, Ekpoma, Edo State, has been found inside a well at their house, days after going missing.

According to reports, the uncle of the deceased revealed that he was complaining about being chased by evil spirits before he went missing, some days ago. His body was found floating, this morning.
