No fewer than five persons from Ngbo in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State were on Wednesday allegedly killed by gunmen suspected to be from Agila community of Benue State.

The victims were reportedly killed following the renewed boundary crisis that ensued between the two states, which according to investigation has lasted for over forty years.

IG Of Police Can Be Jailed For Seizing Dino Melaye's Passport - Ekweremadu - Politics -

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has said that the Inspector General of Police, Idris Kpotum can be jailed for refusing to release the International Passport of Senator Dino Melaye.

Ekweremadu, in a recent interview with Oak TV, said that the IG risks jail if he fails to obey a court order for the release of the Senator's passport.

EFCC Releases Pictures Of Properties Owned By Fayose, While He Is Still In Custody





As the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) digs deeper into the graft accusation against ex-governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti, it has released photos of his properties.
The Spokesman for the Commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, released copies of the pictures on Wednesday.
According to him, the properties were uncovered while the anti-graft agency was investigating the allegations of corruption against the former governor.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has obtained a remand order from a Federal Capital Territory High Court to keep former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for two weeks, The PUNCH can confirm.
he remand order, it was learnt, is subject to renewal which implies that Fayose could spend longer than two weeks in custody.
