Electricity problems can?t be solved by magic- Babatunde Fashola

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has said electricity supply in the country is improving slowly and that power problems cannot be solved by magic.
Fashola said this when he spoke at the inauguration of the 2x100MVA, 132/33kV power transformers at the Ejigbo Transmission Substation, Lagos, yesterday, October 18th.
While speaking at the ceremony, Fashola took a swipe at the meeting.

Bukola Saraki appointed as director general of Atiku’s presidential campaign

 Senate President Bukola Saraki has been named the director-general of campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
According to the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, some zonal coordinators had also been named after meetings by the PDP hierarchy.

Aisha Alhassan storms APC secretariat, retrieves all the properties she donated to the party

After her defection from the ruling party APC to the United Democratic Party UDP, immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, stormed the apc party secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba state today and took all the items she donated to the party while she was a member.
Items she retrieved include rugs, computers, chairs, air conditioners and many others. According to her, she bought the items with her money and that she removed them because the party doesn’t deserve anything good from her.
