Finnish Policewoman Gets Scammed Of N73m By Nigerian Fraudsters - Crime -

The pathetic story and suicide attempt by a Finnish policewoman, identified simply as Raiji, after a Nigerian, Isibor Ehichioya Hillary 24, swindled her of N73.63 million, has caused the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to launch an investigation, leading to the arrest of the suspected fraudster.

Raiji was said to have petitioned Idris after she was swindled of a loan she collected from a bank believing she was investing it into a business that would yield profit.

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to 50 days in jail for breaking a taxi driver's jaw after refusing to pay the £5 fare.  

The 30-year-old, who now plays for Norwegian side Rosenborg, was partying with his girlfriend before hailing a cab just after 2am on September 9th. Having argued with the driver over his route, Bendtner, who earned £50,000 a week and his model partner left the car and were pursued by the driver.

Two teenage students in a high school in Florida were so angry when they found out their science teacher was having sex with both of them so they took revenge by reporting the affiar to the man's wife.

Both teens, 16 and 17, are now former students at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, where they told police they had sex with Corey French, 30, both at the school and in his home, according to an administrative report by the Duval County School Board obtained by WJXT.

Nigerian soldier serving in Yobe rejoices at miraculous survival after bullet penetrates his sweater but not his body

A soldier serving in Azare, Yobe state, survived an attack this morning and took to Facebook to share the good news.

Sammy Jay Ajuwa and other soldiers were being attacked by Boko Haram insurgents when he was shot at. He was struck by a bullet which luckily made a hole in his sweater but lodged there and didn't enter his body. Sadly, some soldiers weren't as lucky.
