The Federal Government on Tuesday withdrew its charges against Alh. Adamu Abdullahi Usman, alias Dan China.

Adamu was arraigned with 25 others (among who were 16 expatriates) before Justice Musa Kurna of the Federal High Court sitting in Jos on charges bordering on illegal mining at Kompany Zurak in Wase LGA in February this year.

Two of Manchester United’s biggest stars angered fans this evening by laughing during United’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Manchester derby.

Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata were spotted laughing by eagle-eyed viewers during injury time in the first-half.

The Red Devils were second best for the entire game and Jose Mourinho’s men conceded only 12 minutes into the tie when David Silva gave City the lead in the heated derby.

A man who reportedly lost his church's money has allegedly taken his own life in Delta state. A 59-year-old man, identified as Julius Numa, reportedly committed suicide over stolen N600,000 harvest fund kept with him.

It was gathered that he had sent out a text message to his friends and relatives demanding for financial assistance or he would kill himself before hanging himself in his room in Oton area of Sapele, Delta State, on Sunday.
