A lecturer of Anambra State University, now known as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, in Uli, Anambra state, transformed into Spiderman to teach his students during the ongoing ASUU Strike.

Lecturers who belong to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, are forbidden from teaching while the strike action is going on. But the lecturer wanted to carry on with his lecturers so he disguised as Spiderman.

Pastor John Gray of Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina, left his congregation stunned when he called out war veterans, widows, single mothers and fathers in need and ordered them to take any amount from the offering baskets.

In a late November sermon, Pastor Gray told his congregation: "But God told me after we collected offering to leave it at the altar. And then let those who had needs get what they needed from the offering baskets."

"There's some money in these baskets, for you and the kids to eat. And get some gas, Pastor Gray said to the people as they came forward.

Agreement reached: Eden Hazard accepts Real Madrid transfer as Chelsea set asking price at eye-watering €170million

The Russian Government has unveiled a powerful new laser weapon which can take down targets 'within fractions of second' during a war battle.

According to the country's government, the space age laser, named the Peresvet after a sixteenth-century Russian warrior monk, is already being deployed and used by Russia's armed forces.

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov told his ministry's newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda on Monday that the machine can 'take down targets within fractions of a second'.

'We can talk a lot about laser weapons and movies were made about them a long time ago and fantastic books have been written, and everyone knows about this,' Borisov said.

The Royal Festival Hall was packed full for the event which was sold out, leaving a lot of interested participants unable to attend. More than 40,00 people had tried to get tickets online when the event went on sale. 

Those lucky enough to grab the much sought after tickets occupied the hall as Ms Adichie asked questions and Ms Obama answered them.

Father Mbaka criticizes Peter Obi for refusing to donate to his church and warns that he and Atiku will lose the election. And social media users react (video)

Father Mbaka has criticized Peter Obi for being reluctant to make a donation to his church during their Harvest and Bazaar and he warned Peter Obi that if he continues in the way he is going, he and Atiku will lose the 2019 presidential election.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka's ministry was having their 2018 harvest and bazaar and a lot of dignitaries and politicians were present, including former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, and Senator Hope Uzodinma. 

In a video shared online, which is being highly criticized by social media users, Mbaka promised that on the 31st of December, he will make predictions regarding the future of the nation. He warned that Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar isn't going about his campaign the right way and threatened that he will lose if he continues this way. 

Mbaka then invited Peter Obi to make a donation to the church. 

While speaking, Obi promised to deliver Mbaka's message to Atiku. Peter Obi also said that he's eager to hear what predictions the Reverend has to make about the future of Nigeria come 31st of December, considering that there's so much hunger in the land and a change is needed. He added that even if the prediction doesn't favour him, he will listen to it and accept it because Mbaka is a servant of God.
