85-year-old herbalist arrested with fresh human heart in Lagos (Photo)...lets be careful this season

Samuel Hunsu, an 85-year-old herbalist has been arrested by the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos State, in possession of fresh human heart.

The suspect was said to have been arrested in Abeokuta, Ogun State and the police alleged that the old man specialized in using human parts for money making rituals. Hunsu, however, claimed that the hearts were given to him by one Abiodun, who had earlier consulted him for money ritual.

His words: “Initially, I was consulted by Abiodun. He wanted me to prepare money charms making for him. When I told him what was required for the ritual, he promised to get them. I was surprised when I saw him with fresh human heart. When Abiodun eventually brought the heart, I asked him where he got it. He said that he removed it from a thief that was killed at Ijoko area of Ogun State.

Life Under The Bridge In Lagos Exposed By BBC Documentary!



BBC spent a day with three men who came to Lagos to hustle and look for a better life, but found themselves sleeping under a flyover in Lagos.



A recent episode of BBC’s “Homeless in Lagos” profiled 23-year-old Christian, Manchester United fan, Godwin. He claims he sleeps under the bridge because housing in Lagos is expensive; the average apartment costs between NGN150K and NGN200K — he only has NGN50, 000 after working hard.


Godwin told BBC:

“When I was in my final year, I used to hear; there’s money in Lagos, there’s work in Lagos. My aim was to come and work, I did not even plan to live under a bridge.” 


Despite his education, Godwin is now an agbero in Lagos, he helps drivers load their buses for NGN50-NGN100. At the time BBC caught up to him, he had been doing that for four months.


BBC also interviewed another man suffering the effects of Boko Haram’s terrorism. He says:

Mo Abudu joins Emmy Awards’ academy directors

Abuja – Media mogul, Mo Abudu has been elected as a director of the International Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences. The Academy is responsible for staging the world famous International Emmy Awards which recognizes excellence in the television industry globally. Mo Abudu, It is an organiSation of global broadcasters, with members from over 60 countries and over 500 companies.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Abudu, who heads the trail brazing EbonyLife media group, announced the feat on Friday ON her Instagram page @moabudu. Stressing the importance of her appointment, she stated that it will aid the global recognition and acceptance of the Nigerian film industry. She said, “I am pleased about this appointment because it will be an enabler for the recognition of our work in TV and film across the globe. And I mean “Our” as in our work from Nigeria. “As a member of the board, I join a select group of about 100 Directors who are international executives from leading channels, production and distribution companies. “I am expected to attend board and members meetings three or four times a year. It’s time to change the narrative and get our stories told,” Abudu wrote. NAN reports that Abudu hosted and produced “Moments with Mo’’, the first pan-African talk show, before she went on to found EbonyLife TV in 2012, which has grown into a media group. US Defense Secretary, James Mattis resigns, says his views aren't "in line" with President Trump's views

US Defense Secretary, James Mattis announced on Thursday that he would resign at the end of February, sending a letter to President Trump saying he deserved a secretary "whose views are better aligned with yours."  

The announcement came a day after the White House said the U.S. would be withdrawing its troops from Syria, as well as reports it was also considering a drawdown in Afghanistan. Both moves have been met with opposition by Pentagon officials and members of the foreign policy establishment.

In a striking resignation letter to Trump, Mattis signaled his concern with the way Trump treated allies in NATO as well as rivals such as China and Russia. 

Rapper Young Jeezy’s son slashed in the face during an altercation that allegedly left another man dead

US rapper, Young Jeezy’s 22-year-old son Jadarius was reportedly slashed in the face during an altercation that allegedly left another man dead.

According to TMZ, Jadarius was involved in an incident Sunday morning in Georgia that ended with gunfire.

The Gossip site reported that Officers responded to shots fired call, and when they arrived they found a 37-year-old man had been shot. He later died at the hospital 

Police confirmed that Jeezy's son sustained a “possible knife wound to the face” and was treated at the scene, but it’s unclear what occurred prior to the altercation between the two. 

Drew Findling, the attorney for Jeezy’s son, told TMZ “We are grateful to law enforcement for releasing Jadarius after their preliminary investigation. He continues to receive medical treatment for the injury he endured during the incident.” 

Another source added that Jadarius was acting in self-defense during the altercation. 

Police are now investigating two burglaries that occurred nearby around the same time as the shooting possibly involving the man who was killed.
