American actress, Anna Faris has revealed his ex-husband Chris Pratt informed her about his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

The 42-year-old mother of one took to her podcast Unqualified to reveal that her 39-year-old actor ex texted her after popping the question to Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Faris explained:  'Chris texted me this morning and he was like, "I proposed to Katherine last night." And I was like, "Ahh, that’s amazing."'

She even proved that there are no hard feelings between them as she jokingly offered to officiate the ceremony. She said:  'And I texted him back like, "I just wanted to remind you I’m an ordained minister." I’m not very good at it...

Doctor hurried to help at scene of a car crash only to find his fiancee dead in the wreckage

A doctor ran to offer help to accident victims at the scene of a road crash but was shocked to find his fiancee dead in the wreckage.

Scot Brading, 30, was walking his dog when he came across the accident scene on the A1 in East Lothian, Scotland, and found that his fiancee Meghan Ambrozevich-Blair, 26, was a victim. She was being given first aid by another off-duty doctor when he arrived.

Scot immediately took over and started performing CPR on his fiancée. Sadly, she didn't make it.

The total pension assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme rose to N8.49tn as of the end of November 2018 financial period, latest figures obtained from the National Pension Commission on Tuesday revealed.


The pension commission said 72.5 per cent of the fund had been borrowed by the Federal Government and invested in the FGN securities totalling N6.16tn during the period under review.

The Pension Fund Administrators also invested 6.87 per cent or N584.321bn of the fund in domestic ordinary shares, while 0.71 or N60.529bn of the fund was invested in foreign ordinary shares.

According to the Pension Reform Act, the PFAs manage the funds which are in the custody of the Pension Fund Custodians.

The commission stated that it continued its consultative philosophy in the regulation and supervision of the industry.

“The Candidates”: Buhari And Osinbajo To Be In A Live Programme

The spokesperson of the Buhari Campaign Organization, Festus Keyamo, has indicated that the APC presidential candidate, President Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, will be participating in a live televised 2-hour presidential townhall programme on Wednesday, January 16th.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and the Vice-President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, who are also the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Presidential elections will, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 8:00pm (Nigerian time) participate in a live televised two-hour presidential town-hall programme. The venue shall be the Ladi Kwali Conference Center, Ballroom of Sheraton Hotel Abuja. Attendance is strictly by invitation. All guests are expected to be seated by 7:00pm.

The presidential series, which is titled “The Candidates”, is designed by the organisers to have both the Presidential and their Vice-Presidential Candidates of selected political parties on stage at the same time and at different dates to take questions from the moderator, Kadaria Ahmed and from the general public through various platforms.

The programme would be broadcast live on NTA, which shall in turn provide the live feeds to other partner stations like TVC, Wazobia TV, Oak TV and on all Radio Nigeria stations. It will also be streamed on-line at dtv.media to enable Nigerians in diaspora to participate.

Nigerians are encouraged to kindly tune in to participate.

The presidency has confirmed that the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris will be leaving office today January 15th while AIG Mohammed Adamu, will take over in acting capacity.

President Buhari's personal assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this in a tweet this afternoon. He shared photos of both men in the presidential villa where they are currently holding a meeting with President Buhari.

Idris attained the mandatory 60 years for retirement today and will not be getting an extention of tenure as many people speculated.

Chris Pratt sought the permission of Katherine Schwarzenegger's parents before he proposed to her, it has been revealed.

According to reports, Chris went to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver around Christmas to ask for permission to propose to their daughter.

An insider told US Weekly:

Chris asked for Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s permission around Christmas.

Maria helped him with the proposal.

Maria Shriver was said to have set her daughter up with Chris Pratt, so helping with the proposal was a piece of cake. 

Chris Pratt's engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger comes three months after he finalized his divorce from his ex-wife. He separated from Anna Faris in 2017 and finalized the divorce in October 2018.

Meanwhile, Anna Faris has congratulated her ex-husband on his recent engagement.

Kim Kardashian West has confirmed that she and her husband, rapper Kanye West are expecting their fourth child via surrogate.

Speaking on Monday night’s episode of 'Watch What Happens Live' with Andy Cohen, the reality star, 38, revealed the news after Cohen, who is also expecting his first child via surrogate, asked if she was “working on another child.”

“We are,” Kardashian West responded. The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star also revealed the baby is due “sometime soon.”

“It’s a boy, I think it’s been out there,” Kardashian West told Cohen.

“I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk,” Kardashian West added.

Kardashian West and West, 41, are already parents to daughter North, 5, son Saint, 3, and daughter Chicago, 11 months, who they also welcomed via a surrogate.
