Employment Scam: EFCC arrests man impersonating custom’s boss, Hameed Ali

The Ilorin Zonal Office of EFCC on February 20, 2019, arrested one Azeez Yakubu Afolayan for impersonating the Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali (retd) and using his name to scam job seekers.

Afolayan was arrested by EFCC operatives on March 5, 2019 following complaints from one of his victims.

German FA forcefully terminates international careers of World Cup winners Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels

The German Football Association have forcefully ended the international careers of World Cup winners striker Thomas Muller and defenders Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels.

Germany boss Joachim Low reportedly travelled down to Munich to inform the trio who play for Bayern Munich about his decision to drop them from the national team.

With close to 250 internationals between them, Hummels has (70 caps), Muller (100) and Boateng (74)  for Germany.

Award-winning Canadian rapper, Drake was pictured with British Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua in the boxing ring ahead of his 23rd professional fight.

Captioning the photo he posted to his Instagram, Drake wrote: 'Walk in the rave, smile on my face. Drink in my cup, hand in my jeans. Man talk tough, man look up, down, left, right. Straight to a bang in the teeth'.

According to The Daily Mail, Drake's been training with Jamie Reynolds who is also Joshua's strength and conditioning coach.

Mother warns of MoMo suicide game after her son, 8, was asked to stab himself in neck with kitchen knife

A mother has warned parents to be careful about a popular online suicide game after her son was told by the game to stab himself in the neck with a kitchen knife.

Lyn Dixon's eight-year-old son is one of the latest children to become ensnared by the Momo Challenge, a game which is played on WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and other online platforms. The mother, from Edinburgh, said the game encourages children to harm themselves.

US President Donald Trump and North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un are currently meeting at the start of their high-profile summit in Vietnam's capital, Hanoi.  

The pair shook hands before heading to talks and dinner at the five-star Metropole hotel where they are expected to discuss a roadmap for ridding the Korean peninsula of nuclear weapons in two days of talks.  

There has been little progress on that and other issues since the first Trump-Kim summit in Singapore last year. President Trump said he thought this latest meeting would be "very successful".  

Earlier, he tweeted in praise of the host country on Wednesday morning, writing: "Vietnam is thriving like few places on earth. North Korea would be the same, and very quickly, if it would denuclearize. The potential is AWESOME".

American actor and filmmaker, Bradley Cooper attended Sunday's Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with the two leading ladies in his life.

The 44-year-old actor arrived at the 91st Academy Awards in Hollywood with his partner, supermodel Irina Shayk, 33, and his Italian-American mother, Gloria Campano.

The trio rocked coordinated black ensembles to the star-studded award.

Talking to ET on the red carpet, Bradley admitted his mother was feeling 'nervous'.

'They're all right here,' he said. 'My mom's here, Irina's here. My mother's a wreck. She's so nervous.'

Its no longer news that Senate President, Bukola Saraki, lost the Kwara Central Senatorial District election to Ibrahim Oloriegbe of the All Progressives Congress (APC).  

While many are still in shock about the result, let's tell you about the winner, Ibrahim Oloriegbe who is a medical graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria who has had over 30 years experience in both private and public sector as a medical professional, Politician and an Humanitarian.  

He was once a majority leader at the Kwara state house of assembly between 1999 - 2003. He contested for the senate under ACN in 2011 against Saraki who was the incumbent governor then and some suggest he really won the election, however the seat was handed to Saraki at the court of appeal against the wishes of many Kwarans.

Black Panther star,  Michael B. Jordan, 32, brought his gorgeous mother, Donna Jordan to the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday.

'My mama about to make me have to fight somebody she looking so pretty,' he captioned a photo of the pair on their way to the ceremony tagging it 'Oscars2019', 'PopsIGotYou' and 'DateNight.' 

The duo looked stylish as they arrived together on the red carpet in eye-catching ensembles.
