A mother and daughter have won hearts after they both piloted a plane together from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

The mother-daughter duo, who are both pilots, are being referred to as mother-daughter goals after their photo was shared online by John R. Watret, a pilot and the Chancellor of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

He wrote: "Just flew from LAX to ATL on Delta piloted by this mother-daughter flight crew. Great flight. Inspiring for you women."

Multiple people injured during Monday morning mass shooting in Holland

Shocking reports are emerging of a mass shooting in Holland as Dutch police confirm that several people have been shot in the city of Utrecht.

At least one person has died and a number of people injured in a shooting 'with possible terrorist motive' in the central Dutch city of Utrecht on Monday morning, local news reports.

One or several gunmen opened fire on a tram in the city centre at around 10.45 local time on Monday morning, before fleeing the scene, witnesses say. Police say one or multiple assailants are still at large, and have since instructed all schools, as well as mosques and transportation hubs, in the city to keep their doors closed.

An eight-year-old Nigerian kid identified as Tanitoluwa Adewumi, has emerged the winner of the state-wide New York’s chess championship in the third-grade category.

Adewumi, who lives in a Manhattan homeless shelter with his family, won the competition with an undefeated performance.

Tani started learning chess last year alongside his classmates. He went on to join his school’s chess club. The club’s organizer waived the fees for him because of his family’s financial situation.

Pastor John Gray of Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina, who was accused of cheating on his wife, Aventer Gray, has finally spoken about the allegations.

The American pastor and his wife appeared on popular daytime talk show, The Real, where they addressed the cheating allegations. 

During the interview, the Relentless Church pastor dismissed rumours claiming that he had cheated on his wife while they had an issue in their marriage a year ago. But said he had been talking to someone at the time and believe it was emotional cheating.

Woman fatally 'stabbed her 11-year-old daughter to death to prevent her from having sex with multiple men.

A woman from Orlando has been accused of fatally stabbing her 11-year-old daughter more than a dozen times, and killing the child in the process because she wanted to “prevent her from having sex” with multiple men.

Rosa Alcides Rivera, 28, was arrested Sunday morning and charged with first-degree murder in the death of the daughter, Aleyda Rivera, after she drove up to an Orlando hospital with her already dead child in the front passenger seat, authorities said.

Rivera, who told first responders “my baby is gone,” was detained by hospital security when she pulled out a bloodied knife, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

According to authorities, the child had suffered 15 stab wounds to her back and a defensive wound to her right arm.

Nigerian brothers involved Jussie Smollett attack confirm $3,500 check from the actor was payment for training & not his hate crime attack

It was previously reported that Jussie Smollett made a $3,500 check to two Nigerian brothers to stage his hate crime attack, but now the pair have confirmed the check was for a training program.

According to TMZ, the $3,500 check made out to Abel Osundairo, 25, and his brother Ola Osundairo, 27, who are bodybuilders was for training to prepare the former Empire actor for an upcoming music video shoot. 

Abel and Ola's attorney, Gloria Schmidt, told TMZ the $3,500 check was compensation for a training and nutrition program designed to help Smollett bulk up for a music video.

Schmidt denied a reporter's suggestion that the brothers could be in legal jeopardy if they lied to police about the check.
