Former Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech has made a surprising return to Chelsea as Technical and Performance Advisor.

The focus of the job will be to provide advice on all football and performance matters throughout the club as well as embed and facilitate strong links between our men’s and academy teams, ensuring that the various support departments are working together effectively.

Petr will be based at Cobham and will work closely with Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia. His role will also align him with the men’s first team coaching and backroom staff, travelling with the team home and away with an emphasis on strategy and performance.

Arsenal and Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who turned 30 on Tuesday spent the special day with his partner, Alysha Behague and their two sons as they stepped out looking stylish for his birthday celebration.

Sharing this new photo of himself and his family posing together,  the former Dortmund star wrote: 'Thanks for all your birthday messages guys me and my family feel blessed.'

Mele Kyari was named group general manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Thursday by President Muhammadu Buhari.

His appointment will take effect from July 8 when Maikanti Baru, the current GMD will retire.
Kyari comes on board as the 19th GMD of the national oil company.

Before his appointment as GMD, he was the group general manager, crude oil marketing division of the NNPC.


Trained Geologist

Born on January 8, 1965, in Maiduguri, Borno state, he attended Government Community Secondary School, Biu between 1977 and 1982.
He graduated from the University of Maiduguri in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.

He had his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with the Directorate of Foods, Roads and Rural Infrastructure (DFRRI) between 1987 and 1988 as a well site geologist.

NAFDAC bans the sale of Sniper Insecticides in open market and supermarkets.

The National Food, Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has ordered agro-dealers to withdraw popular agricultural pesticide, Sniper, from open markets and supermarkets, to reduce its use for suicide across the country.

The federal government yesterday placed a restriction on the sale and use of the fatal agro-chemical product, Sniper.

The development was made public by NAFDAC’s director, Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products Directorate, Dr Bukar Usman, at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan on Wednesday, June 19, Leadership reports.

Since Sniper hits the Nigerian market, it has become the favourite of most Nigerians, especially the poor for killing mosquitoes and other pests. Similarly, the product has also been abused by many as they use it to commit suicide.

A woman has been left unable to walk without crutches due to a mystery condition that has caused her breasts to grow uncontrollably.  

Lam Phrai Si Nuan, of Thailand, suffers from excruciating neck, shoulder and back pain because of her gigantic bosom. Local reports claim the 46-year-old is forced to wear a heavy cloth tied behind her neck to support her breasts.

She first noticed her breasts getting bigger three years ago but said they started growing exponentially around nine months ago. 

Lam Phrai who from a village in Phitsanulok provinc, claims doctors have been unable to diagnose or treat her.  

According to reports, her left breast grew first for four to five months, then the right one grew afterwards but medics based at Phutthachinarat Hospital have ruled out cancerous tumours.

The talent manager, who has made this same statement in the past, repeated it again when he visited Clay Cane on SiriusXM Urban View on Tuesday where they addressed the issue of colorism. He stated that he thinks Beyonce would not have been as successful if she were darker-skinned.

The host shared that his Texas Southern University students did a study that showed in a 15-year period, Top 40 airplay artists who were black women were all lighter-skinned. This list included Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and BeyoncĂ©.
