Hip-hop star Cardi B was pictured with Nigerian dancehall star BurnaBoy at the 2019 BET Awards after party.

The rapper who won Female hip-hop Artiste of the Year and Album of The Year at the awards ceremony, was celebrating with Burna Boy who won the award for Best International Act, when she suffered a nip slip.

Burna shared the photo on his Insta story.

Seun Kuti, son of late Afrobeats founder, Fela Kuti has reacted to the viral 'plane seat' conversation after a Nigerian man ordered Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka out of his seat on board a flight over the weekend.

Taking to his Instagram to react, the singer wrote: 'That being said, the Nigerian professional class is callous and exemplified by this whole WS issue. The only culture they know is Agbada and how to respect elders. Just aesthetics nothing concrete. This ‘respecting elders’ is just an excuse not to stand up to elders!! To go around sucking up and kisses donkeys!( u know the right word). Ask them other than their agbada and ‘respecting elders’ what other african culture do they practice or hold higher than European and Arabic ideals. Ask them, the answer is Zero, Zilch, Nada. Respecting the elders the Nigerian professional class’ shelter as they continue to collude and connive to destroy us! Wole Soyinka doesn’t mind, he never ‘respected elders’ in his own days.'

A newly wed has been accused of injecting her husband with rat poison in Kaduna state.

Facebook user, Masur Salihu, who shared the story online, said the woman was allegedly advised by her friends to kill her husband so they can connect her with a wealthy man in Abuja. He wrote

''Another newly wed injected her husband with rat poison on the advise of bad friends who wanted her to join them in abuja where they promised to fix her with a wealthy man. The husband is receiving treatment @ teaching hospital in Jos. Allah ya kyauta''.

Chicago police release bodycam footage of Jussie Smollett with rope around his neck immediately after his alleged attack (Watch)

Days after a judge in Illinois appointed a special prosecutor to re-investigate the Jussie Smollett case,  Chicago Police Department have released bodycam footage of the actor with a rope around his neck immediately after his alleged attack in January.

The video is among the hundreds of files made available Monday ahead of the fresh investigation into the case.

The files include surveillance footage collected by police and footage of the Nigerian brothers who say they were paid to orchestrate the attack on the 29th of January, 2019. As ABC7 and CBS Chicago report, nearly 70 hours of video were released, including footage of Smollett in his downtown apartment wearing a white sweater and a rope that looks like a noose.

Woman who had sex with her dad then married him, after fighting with her sister over who will bed him first, is spared jail

A 21-year-old woman who had sex with her own father before marrying him has been spared jail after her father was locked up for two years.

Samantha Kershner, 21, got married to Travis Fieldgrove, 40, after she and her sister allegedly got locked in a sick fight over who could have sex with him first.

The father and daughter were charged with incest after being accused of having sex in two counties in Nebraska, US. But Kershner pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour charge of false reporting, a plea by which a defendant accepts conviction but does not plead or admit guilt, and got nine months probation.

Mexican rescue dog credited with saving 12 lives and locating over 40 bodies has retired after nine years of service (Photos)

A rescue dog who gained international fame for her heroics after an earthquake hit Mexico in 2017 has retired after nine years of service. 

The Mexican Navy canine unit held a ceremony on Monday to honour Golden Labrador Frida who has taken part in 53 rescue operations across Mexico, Haiti, Guatemala and Ecuador.

The navy has credited Frida with saving 12 people's lives and locating more than 40 bodies. "Her bark always gave hope, and in moments of pain and uncertainty she brought relief," said Deputy Naval Minister Eduardo Redondo.

Images of Frida clad in a protective eye mask, searching through the rubble of a school in Mexico City, drew worldwide attention and became a symbol of hope for Mexico after the earthquake, which killed more than 300 people.  

Now aged 10, her handlers have hung up her famous mask and boots and presented her with a chew toy for the next chapter of her life.

Greek-Based Nigerian NBA star, Giannis Antetokounmpo who plays for Milwaukee Bucks basketball team in the US was last night named the Most Valuable Player in NBA. 

The 24-year-old forward born in Greece to Nigerian migrant parents reduced to tears as he beat Paul Georgeof the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Harden of the Houston Rockets to win Most Valuable Player honors.

Antetokounmpo received 941 points and 78 first-place votes in the balloting ahead of Harden who finished second with 776 points and 23 first-place votes.
