Christian nurse Sarah Kuteh was fired from her job at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford after she offered a patient a Bible and said they'd have a better chance of living if they prayed Sarah was allowed back at the hospital with tight restrictions and supervision now lifted. The mother of 3 was never formally accused of doing anything wrong. But the hospital insisted that she always wanted to pray with patients which allegedly disturbed them.
Nurse Sarah Kuteh, a South African who lives in Dartford, lost her job two years ago after she advised a cancer patient that praying would give them a better chance of living and handed them a Bible. The 49-year-old mother of three, did not get accused of any failure in her clinical duties but was told that she failed to respect religious diversity. The woman whose experience in nursing span over 15 years was told that her action was one of gross misconduct.

Sarah expressed how losing her job in such a manner was painful and humiliating. She shared her story on YouTube, giving a hint into how she felt when the event happened: Only recently, the Nursing and Midwifery Council made the decision to let the nurse return to her job. This is because it was found that it would be in the public's interest to return a competent and experienced nurse to her former post.
During the time of being away from work, nurse Sarah had worked for a private nursing home. But she is happy to return to her job as nurse at the hospital. Meanwhile, NAIJ.com shared the story of a Nigerian lady who was fired after reporting her boss for harassing her in an immoral manner.
