"Nigerian children who were tortured, abandoned by their families have protected and loved my son" - Danish aid worker Anja Ringgren Loven
Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven has described Nigerian leaders as selfish. 
 
Taking to Facebook, Loven, who is married to a Nigerian, said children she rescued after being branded witches, tortured and abandoned by their families, have taken care, loved and protected her her son since birth. 
 
"Since David Jr. ( my son ) was born he has been carried, literally, through life by all the children. 
Children who once were tortured and abandonned by their own families, have protected and loved David Jr. unconditional ?" she wrote.

When a follower commented on how same love isn't portrayed by Nigerian leaders, Anja reiterated her love for Nigerians but said that it's leaders need to change their selfish games before celebrating independence.
