Nigerians have been issued a warning to be wary of the groundnut oil they buy after some people were spotted scooping groundnut oil from gutter.

A twitter user, @DoctorEmotions has raised alarm after some Lagosians were spotted scooping groundnut oil from a dirty gutter after the trailer carrying the product overturned.

 

That sad incident happened on Friday.

 

Warning people to be wary of the groundnut oil they buy, the Twitter user while sharing the video wrote:

 

"A trailer containing groundnut oil toppled over yesterday and Lagosians went ahead to scoop oil from the gutter.

A gutter.

This oil will be used to cook, 

This oil will be sold.
