"Miscreants" arrested during a raid at Oshodi and its environs by the Lagos State Task Force disclosed that they pay everyday in order to be allowed a space to sleep under the Oshodi bridge.
Gani Yusuf, 35, who was one of the 62 people arrested during the raid, said they pay N100 daily to their ringleader for a sleeping space under the bridge.
Another, Gbenga Ololade, 38, who came from Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, said he had been sleeping under Oshodi Bridge for three years. He added that he was initiated into cultism with a particular tattoo on his face by their group leader, under the bridge, Vanguard reports.
