Articulated Lies Don’t Win Elections - Politics -

You don’t have to be a psychologist to see through the phoney personality stunts with which the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is desperately struggling to get noticed by Nigerians.

Quite apart from the PDP’s legacy of political liabilities that have rendered it an abomination for a return to power, Candidate Atiku’s baggage of political and occupational contraband just cannot get clearance from Nigerians whose eyes have been shining with renewed focus on best attributes of the leader the nation needs since President Buhari’s 2015 emergence changed the agenda radically.

Suddenly, Atiku Abubakar has become a fanciful dancer, shifting and shunting his retired and tired body with visible stress that raises eyebrows and heart beats of surprised spectators. Amazingly, Atiku Abubakar has gate-crashed into the youthful constituency, donning face caps and T-shirts and cajoling his grandchildren to adopt him as an “uncle” instead and let him take them back 16 years.

He has even gone to the extent of mesmerizing his relentless tormentor, with a little help from marabouts, no doubt, and turned the predator of his political fortunes into an unapologetic promoter of his last-ditch presidential bid!

Today, January 2, is World Introvert Day. We are sharing with you these tips for overcoming shyness as an Introvert as written by Joel Annesley.

1. Avoid negative labels. Labels can build you up or destroy you; choose the label that empowers you instead of tears you down. Think Quietly Confident instead of Shy.

2. Look within. The key to finding your true self is to look within and to celebrate who you really are. Practice non-judgemental awareness, self-compassion and loving kindness for the beautiful person you are inside and the way you see the world.

3. Stop overthinking everything. Overthinking and shyness go hand-in-hand. Overthinking leads to indecisiveness, mental exhaustion and self-defeating, negative thoughts. The solution is to learn how to outsmart your overthinking.

4. Find your safe place. When you develop your safe environment, a place where you can be free to be vulnerable, you will have no need to overthink things. When you slowly expand this environment, your Quiet Confidence will also expand and grow.

5. Find your tribe. Spend time with those who build you up, and support and encourage you unconditionally to express yourself.

See The New Look Of Enugu-onitsha Road Being Constructed By Buhari(photos) - Travel -

Below are photos of the new look of  Enugu-Onitsha expressway road presently undergoing reconstruction by President Muhammadu Buhari.

It should be recalled that Father Mbaka on 31st spoke well of Buhari and mentioned this road as one of his achievements. Speaking at Adoration Ministry, he recalled how he warned him to change or be changed. He said the killings by Fulani herdsmen have reduced since he warned him to change. He argued that it will be unwise to compare Buhari's 4yrs with PDP's 16yrs rule(he gave instance that you can not give a nursery one student the same exam with primary six student). He said Buhari has improved agriculture with some of his policies. He mentioned President Buhari's Anchor Borrowers' Scheme' and how it has helped many farmers.

He said while many northern farmers have become rich with the scheme, many of the Igbos are dwelling on alleged dead Buhari issue instead of utilising the opportunity.

Speaking on issue of corruption,he said a  President who fights corruption should be supported. He recalled how catholic Bishops organise anti-corruption prayers to reduce corruption in Nigeria. He however said that Buhari(nobody) is a saint but you can not compare Buhari with many others when it comes to anti-corruption crusade(mark the statement nobody is a saint ie Buhari has his faults too).He argued that Buhari is better than others. He however said that he is not endorsing anybody. He also spoke of the impending hardship Nigerians will witness but said with prayer children of God will overcome.

He also prayed for Nigerian Bishops, priests,Nigerians in general and many others.Speaking about the ordeal of a prophet,he said there are things he know about these politicians that many don't know.

He said that everybody has different gift.According to him,you should not be greedy of another person's gift.He praised Gov Ugwuanyi,Gov Umahi for his infrastructural transformation in Ebonyi and Gov Obiano for his improvement of security in Anambra.

He concluded by saying that he is not God but let the will of God be done.He however stated that he is a Nigerian and can not keep mute if he sees anything that will affect Nigeria negatively simply because he wants to be nice.

Come to think of it,people say he is an APC reverend right? Are Gov. Ugwuanyi,Umahi and Obiano APC governors? Are there things he know about Atiku/Peter Obi that we don't know?
