Paris Jackson checks into a facility for mental health treatment

Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop icon, Micheal Jackson has reportedly been checked into a mental health facility for treatment to improve her “physical and emotional health.” 

A source confirmed to E! News: “After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health.”

The source added that the actress/model/singer checked herself into a treatment facility and is “looking forward to coming out of this revitalised and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her” in the new year.

Back in 2017, Paris spoke openly about her struggle with depression in the past and admitted that she repeatedly tried to kill herself growing up.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn't do … I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help.”

Make-up mogul, Kylie Jenner has responded to being dethroned by an egg as the most liked photo on Instagram.

The photo of the egg which was shared to Instagram on January 4, 2019, got 18 million likes on Sunday, January, 13, as at on Monday morning it got over 22 million likes, beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million).

Reacting to the news, the reality star and mother of one shared a hilarious video of herself cracking a similar-looking brown egg on the ground, which she captioned, "Take that little egg."

Paul Pogba makes a rare outing with his stunning girlfriend Maria Salaues after welcoming their first child (Photos)

Manchester United record signing, Paul Pogba and his stunning girlfriend Maria Salaues,  who recently welcomed his first child were spotted out on Tuesday night after they became parents for the first time.

The couple is yet to announce the birth of their child, but Old Trafford legend Bryan Robson told Sportsmail this week: 'When I saw Paul last week in Dubai with the United squad, I had a little chat and congratulated him on the birth of his baby. He just seemed so relaxed and easy with things.' 

During the outing, Pogba and Maria were all smiles as they walked into The Ivy restaurant in Manchester where they enjoyed dinner together.

Doctor hurried to help at scene of a car crash only to find his fiancee dead in the wreckage

A doctor ran to offer help to accident victims at the scene of a road crash but was shocked to find his fiancee dead in the wreckage.

Scot Brading, 30, was walking his dog when he came across the accident scene on the A1 in East Lothian, Scotland, and found that his fiancee Meghan Ambrozevich-Blair, 26, was a victim. She was being given first aid by another off-duty doctor when he arrived.

Scot immediately took over and started performing CPR on his fiancée. Sadly, she didn't make it.

The total pension assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme rose to N8.49tn as of the end of November 2018 financial period, latest figures obtained from the National Pension Commission on Tuesday revealed.


The pension commission said 72.5 per cent of the fund had been borrowed by the Federal Government and invested in the FGN securities totalling N6.16tn during the period under review.

The Pension Fund Administrators also invested 6.87 per cent or N584.321bn of the fund in domestic ordinary shares, while 0.71 or N60.529bn of the fund was invested in foreign ordinary shares.

According to the Pension Reform Act, the PFAs manage the funds which are in the custody of the Pension Fund Custodians.

The commission stated that it continued its consultative philosophy in the regulation and supervision of the industry.
