Superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, and his fiancee Georgina Rodriguez arrived this morning at a Spanish court in style, where he accepted a fine and suspended jail sentence for his tax fraud case.

The 33-year-old Juventus striker was ordered to pay a total of 18.8million euros(£16.9million) after the deal with the Spanish prosecutors was confirmed at a court hearing in Madrid this morning.

Buhari, Obasanjo, Jonathan, in closed door meeting in Aso Rock

President Buhari is currently in a closed door meeting with members of the National Council of State at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The meeting comprises of past presidents and heads of state, Chief Justices of Nigeria (CJN), leaders of the National Assembly, state governors among others.

Former Nigerian leaders present at the meeting include Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and former Head of Interim National Government, Ernest Shonekan.

As soon as he arrived at the Council chamber which is the venue of the meeting, President Buhari went round to have a handshake with some of the past leaders including Obasanjo who offered the opening Christian prayer while Mohammed Uwais, the former Chief Justioce of Nigeria, said the Muslim prayer.

Drug addict who deceives people with her fake pregnancy in Lagos gets exposed (photos)

A female drug addict who goes about begging for money with a fake pregnancy in Lagos, has been exposed. Twitter user, Jonathan Olanlokun, who shared the story online, said he met the lady at the CSS bookshop around CMS in Lagos Island. According to Jonathan, it was discovered that the lady usually stuffed her stomach with clothes, pretending to be pregnant to get sympathy from people. 

Yesterday I came across her while she was packing clothes in her stomach to look like a real pregnant woman. I see her in town selling pure water & begging money from people, I later discover that she is a drug addict, her fake pregnancy is her joker to raise money from people

After collecting enough money, she resume to drug base to make her purchase. Say no to hard drugs.

Saw her at the back of CSS bookshop CMS...Lagos Island

Hopefully she gets the help she needs.

Two boys, 14, and their pilot died in plane crash in Switzerland after pilot let one of the boys take the controls, investigation reveals

Back in 2017, two boys, 14, and their adult pilot died in a plane crash in Switzerland while a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured. Investigation has now revealed that the crash occurred after the pilot let one of the teens take the controls. 

Swiss investigators say the pilot picked a risky flight path in southeastern Switzerland then decided to hand the controls to one of the boys. This decision ultimately caused the crash that took their lives.
