It will "take a long time" for Manchester United to challenge for the Premier League title again, says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United ended their season with a dismal 2-0 home defeat against relegated Cardiff to finish sixth, 32 points behind champions Manchester City.

The Red Devils won just one of their last seven league games.

"The last couple of months have been extremely hard for the team, the club and for the players," said Solskjaer.

United finished second under Jose Mourinho last season, but the Portuguese was sacked in December following a run of poor results.

Manchester City retained the English Premier League title,  after coming from behind to beat Brighton 4-1 at the Amex stadium on Sunday in an unprecedented title race.Manchester City who retained the English Premier League title, also became the first team to retain the title back-to-back since Manchester United a decade ago.

The other winners are Blackburn Rovers (one title), Arsenal (three), Chelsea (four), Manchester City (three) and Leicester City (one). Guardiola has now won eight league titles in his 10 seasons as a coach, stretching back to his debut campaign at Barcelona when he won a treble in 2009 and featuring successes at Bayern Munich.

Cardi B seems to be making a habit out if stepping out in her dressing gown.

Just some days back, the 26-year-old rapper was seen at the airport in a dressing gown. The photos went viral and people had a lot to say but this doesn't seem to bother her.

She was seen on Thursday in a dressing robe, shopping at Barney's on Rodeo Drive with her husband Offset, 27. She had a flannel wrap on her head to go with the full-length white robe and finished it off with black flats on her feet.

Manchester United appoint Mike Phelan as full-time assistant manager to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Premiership club, Manchester United have appointed Mike Phelan as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's assistant on a three-year contract.

Phelan, who was Sir Alex Ferguson's former No 2, returned to the club in December when Solskjaer was made caretaker, and he has been in talks with United after the Norwegian was appointed on a permanent basis in March.

In a statement, he said: 'I am thrilled to be back as assistant manager. Manchester United has been a huge part of my life since I joined as a player in 1989 and I am delighted to be able to continue that relationship in this key role.

Update: Football star, Neymar banned for punching fan after PSG lost Coupe de France final to Rennes

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward, Neymar Jnr has been handed a three-match ban after he was caught on camera throwing a punch at a fan after his team lost the Coupe de France final to Rennes in a penalty shootout last month.

The Brazilian star was walking up the stairs at the Stade de France to collect his losers' medal, minutes after his side had lost 6-5 in a penalty shootout, when he stopped and confronted one man who was pointing a phone camera at him and then punched him. Read previous report here.

Neymar will now miss the last two games of the campaign, as well as the first game of next season, but is eligible to face Angers on Saturday.

According to Futaa, the ban also includes a two-game suspended sentence, which will be added to any further bans should Neymar be punished again in the near future.

This is the second time this season the Brazilian is being hit with a three-match ban. He was handed a three-match Champions League ban by UEFA for telling VAR officials to 'Go f*** yourselves' on social media in April.

Ruggedman replies as followers accuse him of having an affair with singer 9ice's ex-wife

Ruggedman was accused by some Instagram users of having an affair with 9ice's ex-wife and the rapper did not take it lying down.

It all began when Ruggedman shared a photo of himself partying with model/actor Bryan Okwara and his girlfriend Marie Miller. He went on to reveal that he is "tripping for Bryan Okwara's woman".

In reply, a follower asked if he intends to have sex with her as he did with "9ice wife".

In anger, Ruggedman blasted the disrespectful follower's mother.

Druglord "El Chapo" Guzman is not getting enough light, water and fresh air in jail - Lawyer cries out in court

An attorney for Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman asked a federal judge to intervene over what she described as "cruel and unusual" prison conditions for the drug kingpin who is in custody in a federal prison in New York.

The attorney described what she called a series of punishments against the drug lord saying the light is always on in his cell, leading to a "serious issue of sleep deprivation" for Guzman.

"This deprivation of sunlight and fresh air, over an excessive 27-month period, is causing psychological scarring. He is suffering many symptoms of distress as a result of this lengthy unwarranted punishment" she said.
