A number of Donald Trump's aides and allies have tested positive, raising concerns about the scope of a possible outbreak.


Several cases have been confirmed among those who have had close contact with Donald Trump and his aide Hope Hicks, whose diagnosis prompted the test that confirmed the US president had the coronavirus.

The period between infection and sickness can be anything from a few days to two weeks, so he could have contracted it on a number of occasions and from a variety of people.

Liverpool and Senegalese forward Sadio Mane has tested positive for coronavirus and is self-isolating.

The news comes three days after the club said midfielder Thiago Alcantara had also tested positive for Covid-19.

Liverpool say the Senegal winger had "displayed minor symptoms of the virus but feels in good health overall".

Mane, 28, played for the Reds in a 3-1 win over Arsenal on Monday but was not in the squad for the EFL Cup defeat on penalties to the Gunners on Thursday.

A statement on Liverpool's website added: "Like with Thiago Alcantara, Liverpool are - and will continue to - following all protocols relating to Covid-19 and Mane will self-isolate for the required period of time."

 Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly lining up a shock move for Manchester United's on-loan star Odion Ighalo.

 

The French giants have identified the 31-year-old Nigerian striker as a replacement for Edinson Cavani after the 33-year-old Uruguayan left the club folowing the end of his contract  last month.

 

Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhu recently extended his loan deal to stay at United until January, after scoring five times for the club.

 

According to French publication, Foot Mercato, PSG have made contact with Ighalo's representatives about a possible transfer to replace Edinson Cavani despite splashing out £52million to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis earlier this summer.

Policemen attached to the Force Criminal Investigation Department on Monday seized two official bulletproof vehicles of suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.

SaharaReporters gathered that one of the vehicles was recovered in Abuja and the other in Maiduguri, Borno State.

It was gathered that the vehicles were taken to the Force Headquarters but later moved to the commission’s headquarters.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria’s candidate for the World Trade Organisation director-general election, says she is in need of volunteers for her campaign.

In an interview with Arise TV, Okonjo-Iweala said some of her friends have been helping with media work pro-bono.

If elected, Okonjo-Iweala would be the first African to occupy the position.

“So far things are going well and I’m grateful for the support of the government and Nigerians. I don’t have any PR firm working for me. I have some friends who are helping with media work pro-bono because I cannot afford to pay them. It would be nice to have some volunteers,” she said.

The founder of Church of Satan in Abia State, Mr. Ifekwe Udo, has been arrested by the Nigerian police.

IGBERE TV gathered that the Assemblies of light Bearer Greater Church of Lucifer, popularly known as Church of Satan in Ohafia founded by Mr. ifekwe Udo has also been vandalized and destroyed by the youths of community for the evil it has initiated.

Speaking with IGBERE TV, an eyewitness said, "It was a thing of joy and happiness for the people of Ohafia around the world as the founder of the Church of Satan was arrested by federal authority."
