The Reds open their UCL campaign against the French champions at Anfield on Tuesday evening
Liverpool open their 2018-19 Uefa Champions League campaign with a cracker against Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield on Tuesday evening, and the clash sets two of the world’s deadliest attacking triumvirate up against each other.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were crucial to the Reds’ glorious, unprecedented run to the final of the competition last season, scoring a combined 30 goals [a record-breaking 10 apiece] - 91 in all competitions -  while PSG's trio of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani bagged 89 goals.
This season, the Reds forward have netted eight while their rivals are three goals ahead, and former Anfield star Phil Thompson believes ‘honesty, work-rate and the way they go about their jobs’ places Jurgen Klopp's attacking cast above Thomas Tuchel's.Image result for SALAH MANE AND FIRMINO

The Catalan's tactical framework is top secret but it has emerged that he is working on specific improvements to help deliver European success
Manchester City fans worried about it, journalists enquired about it.
Would Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ documentary leak Pep Guardiola’s closely guarded tactical secrets to the world?
Of course not. For one thing, the Barcelona-based MediaPro are co-producers and their links to City’s Catalans are so established that they would not want to reveal any sensitive information any more than City themselves would.

Mourinho questions why English media aren’t criticising Spurs

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has questioned why the English media have not been criticising Spurs after Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost their last two Premier League games.
Mourinho’s Manchester United were hammered by the media after they lost two league games recently, including an embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Spurs.
However, Pochettino’s side have looked a shadow of the team that have been one of the most consistent in the Premier League over the last three seasons during recent defeats to Watford and Liverpool, with Mourinho claiming that the lack of forceful criticism aimed the way of the North London outfit simply proves that his own club are treated unfairly by the media.
“Tottenham have now lost two straight. If there is equality of treatment, if there is equality in the way of looking and reporting, they will leave us calm and will start bothering others.” Mourinho told RedeTV.

Spurs lost there third game in a row last night, when they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat away to Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Mourinho reveals why Antonio Valencia will miss Champions League opener

Knificent.blogspot.com .

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Antonio Valencia will miss Manchester United’s Champions League opener against Swiss side Young Boys due to concerns over their plastic pitch.
Valencia has cemented his place as Manchester United‘s first choice right-back over recent years, as well as being named as club captain for this season following the retirement of Michael Carrick.
However, with United ready to get their 2018/19 Champions League campaign underway against Swiss side Young Boys in Bern on Wednesday night, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that the 33-year-old will not feature due to concerns about the plastic pitch aggravating historic knee injuries:
“We decide not to play Antonio Valencia because his knee is not a knee that needs an artificial pitch at all, so we brought Luke Shaw back into the team,” Mourinho said in his pre-match press conference.

“I told already Luke Shaw is playing tomorrow and apart from him we have Diogo, Ashley Young and Darmian ready to play.

Thiago Silva had billed this as the battle of the world’s two best attacks.

Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain didn’t disappoint as they served up a Champions League classic. First group game? This felt like a semi-final, such was the noise, such was the quality. HE WAS SPECTACULAR

South Africa's highest court legalises the use of cannabis by adults in private places

South Africa

South Africa's highest court has legalised the use of cannabis by adults in private places as Pro-marijuana activists cheered in the public gallery and chanted "Weed are free now" when the Constitutional Court gave its landmark ruling.

In a unanimous ruling, judges also legalised the growing of marijuana for private consumption. Before now, South Africa's government's had opposed its legalisation, arguing the drug was "harmful" to people's the health.

Three cannabis users who had faced prosecution for using cannabis brought the case, saying the ban "intrudes unjustifiably into their private spheres".

In his judgement, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said: "It will not be a criminal offence for an adult person to use or be in possession of cannabis in private for his or her personal consumption."

It will, however, remain illegal to use cannabis in public, and to sell and supply it. The Cannabis Development Council of South Africa welcomed the ruling, and called on the government to drop charges against people found in possession of the drug.

Jeremy Acton, the leader of the Dagga Party, which campaigns for the use of cannabis, said the ruling should have gone further to legalise the carrying of marijuana in public. Cannabis is referred to as "dagga" in South Africa.
