A young lady has gotten electrocuted while she was taking a bath after her charging iPhone suddenly fell inside the water.

Martial arts champion Irina Rybnikova had been using a cable to charge the device, reports say.

 

The 15-year-old was found dead in the water at her home in Bratsk, Russia, on Saturday.

 

She was a champion fighter in pankration - an ancient Greek form of “no rules” boxing and wrestling - and had been selected for her country’s national team.

 

A friend said: “She was dreaming of becoming a world champion."

 

Her sister Tatiana, 25, told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper her sister was a "beautiful girl with many friends".

 

She added: “In August she became the godmother to my little daughter. My child adored her and called her ‘nanny’.

That sad incident happened on Friday.

 

Warning people to be wary of the groundnut oil they buy, the Twitter user while sharing the video wrote:

Hip pop star, Chance the Rapper, has revealed he is taking a break from music.

The 25-year-old rapper is going on a 'sabbatical' to study the Bible' so he can 'learn the Word of God' and be a more 'educated' uncle to his newborn nephew.

The 'Cocoa Butter Kisses' hitmaker whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett made this know via his Instagram page as he shared an adorable video of himself carrying his newborn nephew.

He wrote on Instagram:

'I'm on a plane headed out the country on my first sabbatical. I'm going away to learn the Word of God which I am admittedly very unfamiliar with.

'I've been brought up by my family to know Christ but I haven't taken it upon myself to really just take a couple days and read my bible... we all quote scripture and tell each other what God likes and doesn't like but how much time do we spend as followers of Jesus to really just read and KNOW his Word.

'I'm definitely guilty of not devoting time to it. So I'm off to read and learn because the next generation of Bennett is here and I need to be able to give my nephew Charlie Matthew the knowledge and tools to F**K YALL UP ... Lol but seriously he's the first boy of the next line and he needs his uncle to be educated.'

Defender Joe Gomez has signed a new contract with Liverpool that will keep him at Anfield until 2024, the club announced on Monday.

The England international, currently out for up to six weeks with a fractured leg, has been impressive this season both alongside Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence and also at right-back, where he has alternated with Trent Alexander-Arnold.
