'I miss Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain': Lionel Messi admits he wishes the ex-Real Madrid star was still in La Liga

The rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain ended after the Portuguese left Real Madrid for Juventus last summer in a staggering £100million deal.

Now, his fierce rival, Lionel Messi has admitted he wishes Ronaldo was still in La Liga.

'I miss Cristiano,' Messi told FM Club 947 in Argentina. 'Although it was a bit difficult to see him win trophies, he gave La Liga prestige.

'Juventus are a great candidate to win the Champions League since the arrival of Cristiano, and the match against Atleti must have given them a lot of confidence.'

Saying Lagos is one of the dirtiest places in the country won't be an exaggeration! Despite the work by Lagos State Waste Management (LAWMA), it seems they are even getting overwhelmed due to the workload on them. When you visit some places in the heart of Lagos, you have to cover your nose else you inhale germs.

#TrashChallenge has been trending on twitter for quite some weeks but it seems no one is paying attention as it's not about paparazzi or a clapback on celebrities or anything that has to do with gossips.

#TrashChallenge is a global campaign against dirt. It's a campaign to keep the environment clean and free of trash, just as the name implies, a trash challenge where you trash out every dirt.



For those who are familiar with Obalende under the bridge just immediately after P&T bus stop will testify that the place is home to dirt and filths. A group of young Nigerians decided to do something unique, they clean up the place. Obalende under the bridge is home to pick-pockets, drug addicts and street urchins who sleep under the bridge. Seeing this, some Nigerians have taken up the challenge and they are cleaning up the streets, their environment, and locality.

Imagine if we all can imbibe this challenge on a monthly basis, imagine if this can spread across the federation and we replicate what the Rwandans are doing in their country, Nigeria will be a country we all can be proud of.

Before you call this media stunt, what about starting one in your locality and upload it for the hype, after all change starts from you!

Australia and Everton legend Tim Cahill retires from football at the age of 39

Australian and  Everton legend, Tim Cahill, has announced his retirement from football at the age of 39.

The announcement comes, after formel Millwall midfielder retired from internationals in November, ending a career in which he became Australia's leading scorer with 50 goals from 108 appearances.

He last played for Jamshedpur in the Indian Super League, scoring two goals in 11 games before his contract ended.

Lil Wayne reportedly pays off massive $14 Million Tax Debt

Legendary rapper, Lil Wayne, has reportedly paid off a massive $14 Million Tax Debt.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, Weezy recently coughed up $14 million to settle his tax debt. The IRS filed releases of two separate federal tax liens against Wayne.

Back in 2017, the liens accused Wayne of failing to pay $7,341,399.07 in 2011 and $6,853,545.77 in 2012 for a grand total of $14,194,944.84.

It's understood the rapper must have cleared off the massive debt from the settlement money he received from Birdman last year when the two settled their years-long legal battle over his record deal.

At that time, Wayne who accused his label of owing him tens of millions of dollars, including an $8 million advance for “Tha Carter V” received an eight-figure payout from Universal Music Group and officially cut ties with Birdman’s record label, Cash Money Records.

Premiership club, Manchester United has appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as permanent coach on a three-year contract after impressing as caretaker manager.

The club legend returned to Old Trafford in December, after Jose Mourinho sacking and has since then led his side to 14 wins from 19 games. 

His deal is said to worth around £7million a year, less than half the £18m basic the club were understood to have been paying the Norwegian's predecessor Jose Mourinho.
