Amir Khan explains why he accused his wife of cheating on him with Anthony Joshua

Two years after professional boxer Amir Khan accused his wife Faryal Makhdoom of cheating on him with Anthony Joshua and briefly separated from her, he has now explained why he made the false accusation.

The former world champion took to social media in 2017 to accuse Faryal of infidelity and said she had cheated with heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua. Faryal replied him and this led to a lengthy bitter exchange which played out on Twitter before they both agreed on Twitter to split.

It was later revealed Amir had been the one cheating all along and women who had relationships with him while he was already married to Faryal came out with their stories and proof.

Anthony Joshua then got his legal team involved and demanded an apology. Amir Khan "promised to apologize" but didn't. Instead, he got Faryal to do it.

She said she felt alone after her friends and brothers moved away for college, while she was working on "Game of Thrones" and living with her parents. Social media became a "catalyst" for her depression, she said."It only started to kind of go downhill I think when I started to hit puberty, and really puberty, though, at like 17," she said.

A Kenyan Police station was robbed on Tuesday night after thieves broke in as all officers on duty abandoned their post to go watch the UEFA Champions League matches Barcelona vs Manchester United and Juventus vs Ajax Amsterdam.

According to Nairobi News, the incident happened at the Kamworon Police Post in Aldai, Nandi County.

The officers were said to have left the guns in the armoury and travelled to Chepturo trading centre near Kaimosi Teachers College to watch the football matches.

On their return, they discovered the post’s armoury was broken into and three rifles were stolen alongside 60 rounds of ammunition.

Donald Trump is trolled for his comment on the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire

Social media users are trolling US president Donald Trump for the comment he made amid the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire in Paris.

As the fire raged, Trump tweeted:

So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!

Trump's tweet seemed to imply that the French fire service didn't know what they were doing as regards putting out the fire.

The French and Americans reacted to Trump's tweet with sarcastic replies.

Tiger Woods rises into Top 10 in world golf rankings after historic Masters win

American golfer, Tiger Woods, who capped off his comeback to professional golf with a historic victory at the2019 Masters on Sunday has made an upward move in the world of golf rankings, by re-entering the Top 10 for the first time in many years.

Following his 15th major win, Woods is now ranked No. 6 in the Official World Golf Ranking after initially dropping as low as No. 14 in the rankings in recent weeks.

President Trump has also announced he would be awarding Tiger Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the wake of Woods’ Masters victory on Sunday. 

 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex release a statement about the birth of their baby

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a statement regarding the birth of their baby.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made it clear that the birth of their child and the protocol that follows will not go in line with the royal tradition we are used to, as they intend to have some privacy and enjoy the baby privately with their families first before announcing it to the public.

It had earlier been revealed that Meghan doesn't intend to do the media appearance which Kate Middleton and mother-in-law Princess Diana did shortly after birth. This is all in line with their plan to keep the arrival of the baby private.
