Chelsea show interest in PSG 23-year-old midfielder as Cesc Fabregas departure lingers

While Liverpool recently disclosed they are not interested in Germany international and PSG midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, new report have made it known that Chelsea are ready to make a bid for the 23-year-old star in a move that will see him in England in the January transfer window.

According to report, Adrien Rabiot current deal will lapse at the end of this season, however, Paris Saint Germain are reportedly not ready to extend his stay.

Chelsea FC are going to be in need of a new midfielder as Spain international, Cesc Fabregas has hinted on a possible move away from the club come January transfer window.

Apart from Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in the youngster.

This means Adrien Rabiot is currently one of the most sort-after midfielder in Europe.

However, we don’t understand why Sarri led Chelsea squad will want to sign a new midfielder.

This is because Stamford Bridge at the moment is home to over 5 midfielders that includes Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Matteo Kovaci, Ross Barkley, Loftus and Fabregas.

Out of the five only three are needed to play while others remain glue to the bench.
