Fully Armed Policemen Angrily Storm The Streets To Protest In Maiduguri


Some police officers have angrily stormed the streets to stage a protest in the city of Maiduguri in Borno state.
According to Punch Metro, some mobile policemen took to the streets of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to protest six months unpaid allowances.
 
It was learnt that the officers were posted to the state in January to fortify the security of the troubled state which has been bedeviled with Boko Haram insurgency.
 
The officers, who were fully armed, marched in their hundreds to the Borno State Police Headquarters.
 
The officers subsequently barricaded the highway, shooting sporadically into the air and scaring off motorists. Some of the students and workers had to turn back to their homes as they could not pass through the barricade.

Despite the rains and the cold weather in London, United Kingdom, a group of Nigerians in diaspora came out en masse to campaign against the political developments in Nigeria.

A group of Nigerians in the United Kingdom under the aegis of the Concerned Nigerians Living in the UK (CNLUK) have strongly condemned the suspension of the number five citizen of Nigeria, CJN Walter Onnoghen amid other political issues in the public domain.

The group described Onnoghen's suspension as an attempt by the executive arm of government under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to undermine the judiciary and the override the essence of the rule of law in Nigeria.

Speaking through its convener - Dr Wilson Diriwari during a protest under the bad weather at 1:00pm (London time) at Nigerian High Commission in London, the group accuses Buhari of incumbent government of President Muhammadu Buhari is unleashing fear and terror on opponents from other parties.

The group cautioned the present government against taking the path of violence, anarchy and national unrest.

The irony in Aba, according to a resident, is that when it rains, the roads get flooded but the drains stay dry.
A resident was pictured walking inside the gutter after it rained because the street was badly flooded so the gutter became the best alternative.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that Cardi B and her estranged husband, Migos rapper Offset were finally back together amidst his cheating scandal.
In the report, the gossip site claimed that the mother of one returned to the Atlanta home they shared before the breakup.  

It was also reported that one of the key factors was Offset changing his phone number, in order to show Cardi he's serious about being honest and faithful including a new, "no groupies" rule, which they said will be in full effect this weekend.

Singer, Ariana Grande's brother Frankie has revealed he has split from the married gay couple he was dating.
The 36-year-old confirmed to Us Weekly on Wednesday that his relationship with Daniel Sinasohn and Mike Pophis was over.
He said: 'I am single. I’ve been single for about a month now. I'm super grateful for my last relationship. I grew so much in it, and at the same time, it wasn’t working out anymore.'
Frankie also added that there are no hard feelings between them as they all agreed on friends after the split.
