The British man killed in the Kenyan hotel attack carried out yesterday by Islamist terrorists has been named as charity executive, Luke Potter.

Mr Potter worked for the Gatsby Charitable Foundation as their Africa Programmes Director, and had only recently moved to Nairobi from the UK.  He was at the DusitD2 hotel in Nairobi when 5 terrorists stormed the place with guns and grenades on Tuesday, January 15.
The father-of-one had worked for the international development charity for more than three years, most recently on projects across East Africa.
Tuesday's terror attack at a hotel and office complex in Nairobi saw five gunmen kill 14 people, including Mr Potter and a 41-year-old U.S. businessman, after detonating car bombs outside.

More than 700 people were evacuated from the complex overnight, however, some 50 people believed to have been in the building at the time of the attack are still unaccounted for, according to the Kenya Red Cross.
Mr Potter was reportedly a dual British-South African citizen.
The Gatsby Charitable Foundation said in a statement they were 'deeply shocked and saddened' to confirm the death of Mr Potter.
